Maxxed my Chaos Legion Gold-Foil Deck (for now)

Greetings

Nachdem vor ein paar Tagen Airdrop 4+5+6 freigeschalten wurden, habe ich das gleich zum Anlass genommen um meinem Ziel für Chaos-Legion ein Stück näher zu kommen.
Und zwar:

Ein MAX-Gold-Foil Chaos Legion Deck.

Nachdem ich mittlerweile etwa 13000 Packs geöffnet habe, konnte ich mir zumindest alle Commons und Rares in Gold maxen.

Für Epic haben mir noch vereinzelt Karten gefehlt.

Und Legendaries sind auch nicht ganz so einfach nur aus Packs zu maxxen.

Ich musste also erneut etwas Geld in die Hand nehmen. Leider hatte ich alles was ich liquide hatte bereits in CL-Packs gesteckt. Es mussten also einige meiner Plots daran glauben.
Die Preise von Plots sind zwar momentan sehr "niedrig", allerdings bin ich durch den Preis den ich dafür bezahlt habe immer noch stark im Plus.

Nachdem ich dann die restlichen Karten aufgekauft hatte, habe ich es endlich geschafft.

After Airdrop 4+5+6 was unlocked a few days ago, I took this as an opportunity to get a little closer to my goal for Chaos Legion.
Namely:

A MAX Gold Foil Chaos Legion deck.

After opening about 13000 packs, I could at least max out all commons and rares in gold.

I was still missing a few cards for Epic.

And Legendaries aren't that easy to max out of packs either.

So I had to take some money into my hands again. Unfortunately, I had already put everything I had liquid in CL packs. So some of my plots had to bite the dust.
The prices of plots are very "low" at the moment, but because of the initial price I paid for them it means I'm still in the plus.

After I bought the rest of the cards, I finally made it.

And now?

Nachdem noch acht Legendary-Airdrops vor uns liegen, gibt es bestimmt noch die ein oder andere Karte die ich nachkaufen muss.

Glücklicherweise konnte ich mir im Pre-Sale eine Top-Position sichern. Dadurch bekomme ich eine GOLD-MAX Version des Summoners, den ich designen darf. Also immerhin ein Airdrop weniger um den ich mir Gedanken machen muss.

With eight Legendary airdrops still ahead of us, I'm sure there will still be one or two more cards that I need to buy.

Fortunately, I was able to secure a top position in the pre-sale. This gives me a GOLD MAX version of the Summoner that I get to design. So thats at least one less airdrop to worry about.

Bleiben also immer noch 7 Airdrops übrig.
Bisher hatte ich im Durchschnitt mit meinen 20.230 Packs etwa 2 GFLs pro Airdrop bekommen.

Ich hoffe also auf etwas mehr Glück wenn die Summoner droppen, da diese bestimmt die teuersten Gold-Karten der Edition werden.

Ich rechne also mit ~14 GFL Karten die ich nachkaufen muss. Preislich sehe ich die Karten bei $300-400.
Also wäre meine Schätzung aktuell immer noch $4200-$5600 die ich nachinvestieren muss.

Ich bin gespannt ob ich beim ein oder anderen Airdrop vielleicht doch noch etwas mehr Glück haben werde :)

Bis dahin bin ich schonmal sehr froh mit meinem Deck und bin schon neugierig wie ich bei Modern-Gold-Turnieren damit abschneiden kann.
Das Etappenziel wollte ich einmal mit euch teilen und hoffe die Story interessiert vielleicht jemanden von euch

So there are still 7 airdrops left.
So far I've averaged about 2 GFLs per Airdrop with my 20,230 packs.

So I'm hoping for a little better luck when the Summoners are dropped, as they're bound to be the most expensive gold cards in the edition.

So I reckon with ~14 GFL cards that I have to buy later. I see the cards priced at $300-400.
So my estimate would currently still be $4200-$5600 that I have to reinvest.

I'm curious if I'll have a little more luck with one or the other airdrop :)

Until then, I'm very happy with my deck and can't wait to see how manage to compete in Modern Gold tournaments.
I wanted to share this milestone with you and hope the story might be of interest to some of you

Ja auf jeden Fall. Ist halt immer schwer den richtigen Moment abzuwarten.
Werden womöglich noch weiter im Preis fallen, aber kann man ja nie wissen.

War nur froh zumindest rares und commons durch Pack-Openings fertig zu haben 🙂
