Well this has been humbling. The ego's taken a few blows but it's time for a comeback through the seasons.

Calling to inner Sun Tzu:

You see, until last season I hadn't passed gold II since last year shortly after the implementation of the collection power system. So yeah, I had gotten way too used to more or less seamlessly making my way to the ranking I couldn't surpass as per my collection power.

Seems those days are long gone now, as everyone is renting, constantly battling and FOMO-ing hard, the competition is tougher than I remember it ever being.

So much so that until last weekend I don't even remember actually checking what sort of teams my opponent had been using prior to our battle, or spending time reflecting on what would be best for that case. Nope, I'd just go in, practically choose the same teams and win most of the times. But those days are long gone now, almost back to the drawing board.

But fear not oh reader/fan of mine as we have been here before. Remember way back when pre collection power, when I'd reach champion I on the regular and without renting? Good times.

Well I, and you through I shall awaken our inner Sun Tzu soon, I've had the revelation. Say it with me now, we shall strategize our foes to their demise as we surpass our limits this season, and even those the next.
