Playing Splinterlands as an investor - League and Rank

I like to play Splinterlands as a game, but I also do as an investor. I am still buying and selling several cards to win more battles. It is one of my objectives to profit more.

Now my account is in Gold league, and its current rank is 6. Its rating is already over 2,800. So I can advance to Diamond league, but I am considering to stay in current league because it can be more profitable to get Untamed packs as a season reward. If I come into Diamond league, it is more harder to get them. Whether to stay here or not... Which is better to me?

im not sure...are the dec prizes better in the gold league? becaue dec is also making a run for it so it could be a consideration collecting that as well...hmmm

I just advance, because my deck is not good to get me into ranking and "penalty" of losing match is big.

DEC payments are somewhat tied to the rating points, so it means I earn more DEC per match by advancing.
