Great Week for my Hive Goals (35, 2022)

avatar
(Edited)

Starting this week, I'll do a short sum-up table with the state of my goals at the beginning of the post, in easier TLTR form. The table will have only some information, so if you want details, read the post.

GoalState
Completed2 (Staked SPS, Replies Received)
Ongoing4 (HIVE Power, Maxing CL Set, Staked LEO, Comments Made)
Stopped1 (HBD)
Initial Goals2 (HIVE Power & HBD)
Stretch Goals2 (HIVE Power, Maxing CL Set)
Increased1 (Comments Made)
Lowered0

I made significant progress on all goals this week, so this should be an interesting update. Let's see what changed since last week.

HIVE Power Goal

I added 505 HP this week, which is a significant jump forward. It may not be HPUD, but I wanted to start the month with a bang since we are getting closer to the end of the year.

HBD Goal

I stopped this goal in favor of HIVE Power. Initially, the goal was to reach 5000 HBD in savings by the year-end, starting from almost nothing.

LEO Staked

This week I added 158 LEO to my stake. That's 2401 LEO more than when I started tracking this goal, 11 weeks ago.

image.png

The 8k milestone was crossed, which is nice to remark, which makes it 2k until the target.

118 LEO per week are currently needed to complete this goal by the year-end. I might increase this target if I get there too soon. We'll see when we get there.

Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal - Completed

The SPS staking goal is COMPLETED!

However, the new SPS rewards from ranked battles come in a staked form and will keep increasing the stake.

Announcements from the team made me realize the more SPS the better, even above my goal. So I stopped using it to buy CL cards.

I won't stake it though (for now). Besides what comes staked from the gameplay, it's in the diesel pools.

Maxing Chaos Legion Set*

*) or reaching the limit beyond which I consider upgrading a card not profitable

The overall situation, to better gauge my progress, because I still need to push hard on this goal:

Total CL Cards (incl. reward)Maxed or LimitPercent
1327053.03%
Total CL Cards (excl. reward)Maxed or LimitPercent
994545.45%

This week I maxed three reward cards, Dhampir Infiltrator, Vulguine, and Revealer, and I have all needed BCX for Vampiric Blossom to be maxed too, but it's not done yet.

I'm still opening packs as I earn more alchemy and legendary potions.

Social Targets

I started the week with 9618 comments.

The 10K target for replies is COMPLETED and I won't increase it.

I will however increase my target for comments, even though it's not been achieved yet. New target: 12000 comments by the year-end.

I have currently made 9727 comments. The initial target of 10K would have been achieved in about two weeks and a bit, so it makes sense to increase it.

With the new comments target, and 17 weeks left in 2022, I need an average of 134 comments per week to reach the goal, which is a little more than I currently make usually. But hopefully, LeoThreads will help a bit when I need it.

Nice development! 500 HP in a week is awesome!

Well... it's not organic. That would be fantastic! I mainly moved some liquid HIVE and powered it up.

You're doing great with your goals. To think I didn't think of setting comments as goals...😆

I didn't think of it either. It was suggested to me, and finally, I agreed (I thought at the time 10k comments will be hard to reach by year-end).

Wow. This really gives me something to think about. Do you monitor yours through HiveBuzz notifications?

Don't let them fall over LOL

If the basis is solid they won't. ;)

At the current price for HIVE, stacking HBD doesn't make much sense 😁

That is true. There is of course the argument that HIVE could go much lower due to the general crypto market and the economic conditions, in which case if you have HBD you could buy more HIVE cheaper. But there are a lot of ifs.

Nice work!

I have just started #MyHiveGoals also. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for me and will continue to follow your goals.

Like you, I initially thought to collect a good bit of HBD for passive growth, but somehow I think I can do better than the 20% :-)

We'll see! I am focusing instead on the bHIVE/bHBD pools.

Congratulations on starting tracking your Hive Goals! If done properly, they can offer great information on what you need to improve to achieve your goals. And they push you if you set the goals right.

I'm still interested in HBD and probably the goal will make its comeback next year. I just overestimated my capacity to go for both HIVE and HBD goals during the bear market conditions. I kept the goal which made more sense economically under the new circumstances.

Yeah. I am pushing through this week and maybe one more, but then I know I will narrow down my focus. I just don't have enough funds or time to do them all.

LEO is my biggest goal and I will most likely concentrate a majority of my time and money on LEO and Hive primarily with CTP then STEM on chronic slow building.

Oh forgot about psyberx. I already have a pretty bag of that. If it takes off I won't be able to afford much more anyway.

PsyberX is going to be very interesting if it takes off. A shooter is something others have tried but usually failed in the blockchain space. I hope PX succeeds, even though I haven't invested in it (too many goals already).

Great progress. It looks like you are making good progress and good luck hitting 12k comments by year-end. It's going to be tough but I do think 2k comments should be possible.

Thanks! I wanted to stretch myself a bit with the comments goal, as I was getting too complacent.

Great work Adrian!! You are doing fantastic!! Do you see any "dips" in the Hive price coming up or are we bullish from here on out?

Looks like the economy might be playing tricks on us at least for a while. I thought bitcoin was going to move in range between 20-25k for a while and then break up, but we might dip below these levels before we go higher (I still consider 19k almost "in range"). Hive will move relatively the same way as the market, although it seems to hold better than in the past, which makes me think we won't see major moves down from here unless the market absolutely crashes.

Thanks Adrian, that seems a sensible reading of the current market situation. ❤️

It's a good goal to have. Keeps you motivated to engage with others, even when you don't feel like it.

Thanks, Lisa! Yes, it was a good week, but I need to repeat that or I won't achieve my stretch goals.
