SplinterGlossary: Adding Links to Older Definitions
This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.
What Is SplinterGlossary?
SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, and a series of specific lists.
Numbers of the Week
This week I added 2 new terms to the glossary, so we are now at 302.
We are up to 260 definitions written for SplinterGlossary, 20 more since the last update.
Some Details
Back to the regular Saturday updates for SplinterGlossary after a week of combined content that included HPUD.
As has been the case recently, I only added abilities definitions this week. Next week I'll be done with them.
I also updated a number of definitions with links to terms I defined in the meantime.
After abilities, there's mostly only land-related definitions left that would need further details to be defined. But I will start adding the definition posts with something like 'information missing for now', but with the title, header, footer, and the link in the glossary, which will help speed up things when I'll have the information to fill in.
Plans for Next Week
The plan is to finish adding definitions for abilities next week and to keep updating more of the existing definitions with links to terms I defined since each definition post was created.
Final Words
Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.
Also, if you notice something wrong with any of the defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.

Thanks, John! I will.
It looks like the abilities are slowly being filled out and I am glad to see that they are being filled out. Good job filling it out but is land a good idea? Nothing is really out yet because saying X plots = 1 Y.

I did add some definitions of land based on the information available in the initial announcement. But for finer details, I'll just wait for them to make up their minds. I'll add the definition posts for stuff like types of terrain (which have been revealed), etc. but without details. Those will come when gameplay will arrive.
Good progress on your glossary project! Exciting times with SplinterFest going on !

Thanks. Have you discovered how to watch Splinterfest? I haven't.
I was expecting it to be live-streamed on SplinterTV, but it looks like there is no stream, or at least not one open to the public which is a shame. I've just caught some highlights of things on Twitter.
Yeah, same here.

Thanks! I thought they had some live broadcasts themselves.
Nothing that I've seen, I hope they will release some video after.

Thanks, Lisa! Well, at this point it's more boring than hard. But this part will pass.
You're welcome, @gadrian! I am sure it will. Enjoy your day and the week ahead.😀
I guess I need to check out some terms in the SplinterGlossary to see how it works so I can use it in my posts (rather than having to explain things myself).

Yep, that's a great way to use them and build links for SplinterGlossary as well.
Thank you for this project.
You have my support and feedback to assure the project's success.
Peace
