SplinterGlossary: Land Definitions Dominate the Week
This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.
What Is SplinterGlossary?
SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, and a series of specific lists.
Numbers of the Week
There are currently 189 terms in the SplinterGlossary, 45 more than at the last update. I mostly added land-related terms this week.
We are up to 141 definitions written for SplinterGlossary, 20 more since the last update, not exactly as planned last week, but I started to add more terms, and I kept the usual pace.
Some Details
Most of the definitions added this week are land-based (16 definitions, if I counted right). I know the land expansion is not here yet, but that was a way to revisit some of the details about the land expansion which I had already forgotten. As I have done that, my excitement, but also my impatience started to grow.
Very few non-land definitions. There may be one or two at the beginning of the interval, but I won't search for them, and these are all from today:
Plans for Next Week
My plan is to add more of the remaining definitions that are related to the base gameplay and leave aside, for now, further land definitions. Then, I'll choose between entering some definitions related to tournaments or some related to PeakMonsters.
I might also add some placeholder definitions for some of the land-related terms, for which there isn't more information yet, but there will be. Low-hanging fruits depending on how the week is going.
Final Words
Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.
Also, if you notice something wrong in any of the defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.

Considering the week I've had, it is pretty awesome I kept the regular pace. Thanks for dropping by, John.
Absolutely. It is vital for each person on Leofinance to start using the links. That is how Leoglossary start to gain in value.
Thanks for your work. I am going to have to rework the main menu page since I got an error that basically said it was too big. So it will be split up this weekend.

And thanks for your work! Since we are both HIVE/LEO stakeholders (and I am Splinterlands assets holder too), we are both working for ourselves too.
You have over 500 terms in the main menu alone, right? It's important because if they are fewer, I should be careful with the size of Splinterglossary's main menu too.

Land - The one Splinterlands asset I should be buying more of.

It's pretty cheap too these days. Compared to the pump days I mean.
Are there a lot of land related terms? I don't think we have much information about them outside the name of the sizes.

Terms - a lot. Definitions - not so many, because as you remarked, there isn't much info yet. But I could create placeholder definitions for many of them.
