Splinterlands Investment Update for September 2020
I have been busy playing Splinterlands daily but not so much in making posts regarding the game. I will try to get through at least 2 posts a week since the great Splinterlands team supporting its players.
With the new ranking updates I have now been focusing on building higher level summoners and monsters in order to compete and raise my own ranking. As of end of September my best ranking has been in Diamond 2. It has been though falling from Champion 1 down to Diamond however this rating drop has identified to me where my weaknesses are. Basically I need higher level summoner and monster cards.
With that I added several max level monsters such as Diamond dragon, Lightning dragon, and Raging Impaler. One thing to note I was tapping my phone and accidentally bought two max level Impaler. So if you question why I have a double shot of Impaler in the cover picture it is because I have two of them. :/
In summoners I have now a level 5 Kretch Tallevor and can soon level up to max but will hold off for now since I only have two dragon max monsters. Also my ranking is facing opponents at rank gold which limits on summoner/monster levels. I have no need to use a level 5 summoner yet let alone max level. As I progress in the game and hopefully collect more than two max level summoners is when I will lean toward upgrading my Kretch Tallevor and other summoners. Time will tell.
My account on peakmonster has now an estimate of over $1k in card collection. It is one year since I started full time playing the game and am happy with my achievement although I am setting my goals a lot more higher.

STOPI am some kind of not reinvesting back in SL, putting my money is tribe tokens .But Yes with all ongoing development in SL, SL can be very huge.

Tbh the more upgraded cards we have and with few tactics we can make the best use of our collection but at the end we could go so far. More upgraded cards, more tactics and more ranking!
