The risks with ETH/DEC-pool

I have a pool of ETH/DEC with two friend. I have been thinking of the risks of that pool. I think the money we get from it is worth the risk - but you should always be aware of risk when invest.

Uniswap crasch
Well - if uniswap crash or been hacked a lot of people will have problem. Just now it is 3,2 billion dollar !!! at uniswap. I dont think this is a big risk.

Splinterland crasch
If none wants to play Splinterlands the value of DEC will go low - real low. No buyers of the in-game-token. I think the team of SPlinterland has made this journey awesome and I dont think it will be a crash. But still - there can be a lot more games and less players... I hope not.

Value of ETH / DEC goes down
Yes that is a risk. BUT that is same risk as if I hold this token in a wallet. So not a speciela risk for uniswap.

To many people come to the pool
Just now we have 0,66 % of the pool. It looks like it is not a big change since december 2020. IF we keep this part we will get about 60 % in a year.
But if A LOT of people join the pool we get less. Lets say that the pool is doubled up and we only have 0,33%, Then we get about 30 % Still goood....

Bad investment - compare to...
I think this is the biggest risk...
I usually say that 50 % in a year is extremly good. But in a bullmarket you never know. Bitcoin went up 100 % in just some weeks...
But anyway - I can not complain if I get 50% even if my cryptofriends get more.

So lets hope that

• Splinterland keep on being the best game in hive
• ETH goes to moon
• DEC stay at 1000 DEC for 1 USD (dont think it can go much higher)
• And that gas fee is not in moon when we want to withdraw.
