Is Splinterland's Rebellion presale is success?

So Splinterland's presale was concluded yesterday for sale of 500K Rebellion packs and I congratulate all of them who had made to the Leaderboards and now have prestigious task of designing the "Rebellion Legendary Summoner". Unlike the previous Splinterlands sale that used to complete in within minutes or second (I remember that Land presale 1 endend in some 32 second) , so this presale fully went for 30 days is a success or not?

First , let analyze the number of packs sold in this presale. Despite a good start, presale went slow after initial 2-3 days and sale keep progressing daily at slow phase. As I already earlier anticipated that sale will kick on the last day and same happened. Almost 125K+ packs got sold in last 24 hours with total of 492,665 packs sold and awarded as bonus. In this way it is really good numbers as we saw lot of sale in this bear market did not performed this well.

What did this sale has achieved ?

One of the greatest turnaround that this sale is able to do is the boosting of the price of the DEC. DEC that was trading around for 70 cents per 1000 DEC, reached upto 98 cents per 1000 DEC and look like found it new mark on 95 cents per 1000 DEC. This makes DEC very close to peg to kickstart SPS flywheel. Actually in this presale period SPS also get burnt to obtain DEC and SPS price also got a boost. VOUCHERS , almost a forgotten entity in Slingerland ecosytem, also got boost in its price and stopped dipping further.

Overall, Splinterland's DAO got richer with this presale as it earned more in this presale and richer DAO prepares us for long term and withstand more challenges.

A cheap opportunity?

If someone has noticed the CHAOS price in secondary market, they dipped badly after the announcement of Rebellion presale. May be a opportunity to grab them cheap.

My 2 cents

Overall , based on the DEC price racing towards peg, VOUCHER price stopped dipping, and SPS get burned due to this presale and showed price improvement ,SPS DAO got richer due to this presale and team also got more runway to operate ,I will say it is success as it caused a strong positive influence in Splinterland's ecosystem.

I think it was a huge success as over 90% of the packs got sold. So I don't think anyone really missed out if they wanted to get in. Presales ending in like 1 minute are crazy so the land one was a miracle during the bull market.
