Trying To Keep Up With Blogging On Leofinance & Playing Splinterlands

Lots of you readers might have gotten used to my consistent posting on Hive, this is because I have a lot of time in my hands. Blogging has shown me that 24 hours a day it’s not enough anymore when you have lots of things to do and achieve at the end of the day. I love the fact that I know better now, and I literally learn and read everyday. Any new idea I read or learn, my first instinct is to bring it on Hive or Leofinance because I feel a lot of people need this information. But then I found Splinterlands and Splintertalk.

I got that jubilating feeling of trying something new that pays. I started it and it was nice at first because I was learning a lot of new things. Bought my spell book, won some battles earned some DEC token, earned SPT tokens for blogging about my experience and it all felt nice. Then as I progress higher in the game by reaching some certain stages, the game started looking harder. I feel the game getting harder day by day, battle after battle. I go from winning lots of battles to winning like 3 out of 10 battles, and am the type of person that hates participating in any competition because I hate losing. But then it’s a game and you are supposed to catch fun while playing. But when this fun involves money, I tend to get more curious.

I realized that I needed to start renting powerful cards to win more battles. I have some cards which I put some of them out for rent. No one has rented anyone yet because apparently these cards are very common and cheap. So I decided to increase the rate I blog so I can make enough money to buy more or rent more cards. Now here is the problem, I have increased my blogging and now I don’t have time to play splinterlands anymore because I spend most of my time researching, when am not researching, am resting, when am not resting am sleeping. Some days I give myself 20 to 30 minutes to play splinterlands but then I lose again and I get angry, close the app and I distract myself again. And it’s all worse when you have internet network issues. I really need to buy a PC and a fast wifi so that I will either be playing the splinterlands on my phone and blogging on my laptop or vice versa. It’s not been easy though but am putting the work.

So recently I decided I will look into renting of cards. I’m going to buy enough DEC tokens to rent cards so I can win more battles, am on Earth Quest, I guess it requires me to win my battles with Earth cards.

The splintertalk site changed its look and it has been hard for me to access it on my phone. Don’t know if it’s an issue for iPhone users but I have no been able to access it. Been using the splinterland community on @ecency to access other people’s blog on splinterlands and splintertalk.

But the summary of it all is, it’s not been easy but it’s worth it.

Great post. I have the same issue on my phone. Loads really slow or not at all. Guess that's just for a small time period. Also the app working slowly sometimes.
I'm working on my fire deck. But think I have to wait till chaos packs. And hope I get the fire summoner.
Enjoy your earth deck and happy splintertime
