Purchasing Some Leo (HIVE Price/Splinterlands)
Holy Moly Macaroni did you see that HIVE USD price go? Of course you have, you like me and all other HIVENS had your eyes glued to screens watching as HIVE's USD value increased drastically. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and now there is a pull back. We seen highs of nearly $3.50 USD but currently we are at $2.09 USD (Still a great price). Just in case you missed it below is a chart that shows the seven day movement of HIVE.

Did you manage to capitalize on the upward trend? Potentially took some profits, swapped for other currencies such as BTC or HBD or were you too mesmerized by the sudden increase in price and are still froze to your seat in disbelief? Personally I traded a little and managed to pick up a couple plots of Splinterlands land which currently is worth well over $700 USD each. I hope to flip them once (If) Hive dips a little more and then reposition but what else should I be doing to help manage my HIVE goals. I always wanted more LEO and NOW is a great time to make that happen (Hive-Engine Here I come).
For now I have put up two buy orders for a total of 500 LEO but I want much more than that. I'll pick up some here and there while keeping an eye on the Sell Orders. If I see the Sell orders shrink from the 0.129000 range into the 0.110000 range I'll jump at the opportunity to add to my ever growing LEO stake.

Yeah wishing I had a bigger bag of $HIVE when that happened! :) Oh well, at least I have some from sub-$1 days - are we ever going back to that...Anyways, lot's of talk on $LEO - too much not to ignore. I listen to you smart guys and gals on this because I'm too much of a noob and still learning about the Hive ecosystem, but it's been a great ride so far, and I'm looking forward to continued growth here. I've learned more about blockchain roaming around the Hive ecosystem, than I ever learned anywhere else! Thanks so much!

I was snoozing when HIVE hit $3+ so I missed out on banking on it. Hopefully this time next year $2-$3 HIVE will look like it was a steal. We are all still early to all of this. Good luck on your HIVE journey.

ENGAGEtoday.Yeah the price is still meaning despite dropping from $3.50 to $2.09, I never expected the price to reach $2 in November but what a great price pump and better improvement as well.
$2 is a shocker, $3+ was insane.

The price is unpredictable but I did move HIVE from Hive Engine to HIVE and buy credits for my CL purchase (500 packs). So it looks like the voucher from the pre-sale will fully fund the credits portion of my purchase.

Personally, I didn't do anything, I'm still too young to speculate a bit. For now I focus on accumulating hive power. But I think it was a good opportunity to sell hive and buy BTC, I still think it is a good opportunity.

With the upcoming airdrop for Leo holders, having a full bag of tokens is smart! But picking up a couple of Splinterlands plots when Hive mooned is Genius!
The good thing about moving a little HIVE into plots is if I'm wrong and the HIVE USD price spikes again the plot itself will earn that lost income back via the SPS airdrop.

I had sold a lot of DEC to buy lands a day before the pump I had like 1900 Hive. Bought 2 lands, then felt like id miss out on the sps airdrop so bought remaining amount back into DEC. Hindsight is 20/20, im happy with the move though, was meant to diversify had too much % of assets in DEC. !PIZZA
Who knows what land might be worth a year from now. IMO it was a good move to pick up a couple plots. The SPS earned from them will offset the price. Thanks for the !PIZZA.
Always smart to diversify! Hindsight is always 20/20, but keeping eggs in different baskets guarantees stability. I honestly don't really have much Hive, but thinking it might be time to remedy that, the upside potential looks very strong. What do you think of PIZZA long term?
Greetings @rentmoney, this rise in the Hive has been very profitable and has given the opportunity to acquire new products. At least I can buy 10 packs of Chaos and one of XChaos, at least not to be so far away when these new cards are activated.
Its nice to read that you were able to capitalize on the recent HIVE run. Good luck with flipping some nice cards over when opening those packs.

I'd just sold all my liquid hive for SPT just before the jump to take advantage of the huge spread in SPT but the jump in hive killed SPT price so I took the opportunity to buy some Splinterlands NFTs lol.
I think those NFT's will bring some nice ROI at some point.
