Splinterlands Hitting Milestones This Week!

What a week for Splinterland players! Land & Untamed packs all sold out this week, really hard to keep up with these great news! Splinterlands marketcap past 20 million, what more can we ask for all in 1 week! With my busy lifestyle working around kids and daily stuff, I have been keeping my eyes on the news and great work from the team making this game awesome and this week I can really feel the FOMO setting in from the players. Not to mention the number of new players joining us as we are really still early in the game.

Let's start with the most exciting thing that happened first this week. land sold out earlier this week. It happened so quickly. The moment I found out we were kind of low, it was already sold out. I am still grateful able to grab a tract during the presale with the group buys and got it for 750k with of DEC which is equivalent of approximately $750 USD. As mentioned in one of my post when I pooled in, it is probably the largest purchase for a gave in a very long time and so far it is paying off. As soon as land sold out, I quickly checked Atomichub and could see the lowest price at the moment for a tract is $3200 USD!! There is currently 1 tract on hive-engine at around $1500 which looks to be a great bargain now if you are comparing to the two. I anticipate that when the announcement of land is ready, another wave of FOMO will happen and probably see the prices of plots, tracts or regions sky rocketing. If you look at past blockchain games, anything with land involve does well and I am crossing my fingers and toes this will happen on Splinterlands as well.

Untamed packs sold out this morning which was pretty exciting. I used some of my WAX to buy 100 packs with the 10 pack bonus anticipating these packs will go up in value over time. In the past we have seen this happened to the other packs so I am taking a small gambling hoping this will happen again especially when there is an increase of players coming in each day, it may happen. We can already see the prices have shot up a bit on hive-engine and Atomichub so it will be something I will keeping my eyes on. I might open the 10 bonus packs for the sake of it and leave the 100 sitting there. There will be a new series of cards to come out in a couple of months so in the meantime, we might see an influx of transactions on the market. As of today, we have over $20k of sales in the last 24 hours and expect to see it rise of the next few weeks.

Finally another milestone is the Splinterland marketcap has gone past $20 million! It seemed like yesterday we have gone over $10 million and I am excited to see what the future lies for the game in the next 6 months. Of course, this means the value of my cards of jumped significantly over the past fortnight. Just in 2 days, it has gone up $1000! Where in cryptoland can you see this growth while the rest of the market is going down. Did I say this week has been crazy for us players?
