Jetzt weiß ich, warum das Grinden von Splinterlands-Truhen so schwierig geworden ist.

Ist mir gestern nach dem Hive-Meetup in Wien eingefallen.

Ein Grund ist, dass man am Anfang der Season eine Liga herabgestuft wird, aber weiterhin Truhen der höheren Liga grindet.

Und jetzt kommt die Erklärung. Truhen kosten je nach Liga unterschiedlich viel Fokus/Season-Punkte.

Wenn man in der herabgestuften Liga spielt, verdient man weniger Punkte. Die Punkte, die man erhält hängen vom Rating ab. Daher fühlt es sich am Season-Anfang noch einmal deutlich schwerer an, Truhen zu bekommen.

Wenn man aber wieder in die höhere Liga aufsteigt, verdient man mehr Punkte und die Truhen sind nicht mehr ganz so teuer.

In meinem Fall, habe mit viel Mühe Diamand 2 erreicht, kostet die erste Diamand-Truhe 43,000 Punkte, während die erste Gold-Truhe nur 18,000 Punkte kosten würde.

Wenn man jetzt aber in Gold kämpft, bekommt man weniger Punkte. Im Durchschnitt in Gold 13K, in Diamand aber 34K.

Das ist die Erklärung, warum sich das Grinden am Anfang der Season so schwierig anfühlt. Was sagt ihr dazu? Vielleicht wird das noch einmal nachjustiert.

Splinterlands Update

Now I know why grinding Splinterlands chests has become so difficult.

It struck me yesterday after attending the Hive Meetup in Vienna.

One reason is that at the beginning of the season you are downgraded one league, but you continue to grind chests of the higher league.

And now comes the explanation. Chests cost different amounts of focus/season points depending on the league.

When you play in the downgraded league, you earn fewer points. The points you earn depend on your rating. Therefore, at the beginning of the season, it feels much harder to earn chests.

However, when you move back up to the higher league, you earn more points and the chests aren't quite as expensive as before.

In my case, I have reached with a lot of effort Diamand 2 last season, the first Diamand chest costs 43,000 points, while the first Gold chest would only cost 18,000 points.

But if you fight in Gold now, you get less points. On average in Gold 13K, but in Diamond 34K.

This is the explanation why grinding feels so difficult at the beginning of the season. What do you think? Maybe this will be readjusted again.
