I love the Undead: Battle Share PLUS Death Splinter Guide!

When I was thirteen years old I rode my bike down to the local Video Barn and rented Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn. A friend and I went back to my house and watched them back to back. In just under three hours I had fallen in love ... with the Undead!

Decades later I now have one of the largest collections of rare old horror VHS in existence, my office looks like a video store horror isle, and Death is my favorite Splinterlands splinter. Follow your dreams kids!

Unsurprisingly, one of my favorite cards in all of Splinterlands is the Animated Corpse.

Animated corpse does it all. It's cheap, hits very hard, grows to a high health, and has a premium ability in Void. Void reduces damage from magic attacks and, with the meta being what it is, that is very strong. Animated Corpse also has another thing going for it: it's common. While most players view this metric as a negative I disagree, this means you can afford to really level up your corpse without mortgaging your house! Friends, this is a feature not a bug!

So, why is Animated Corpse now one of the most famous Death cards? Well, that's because of it's older brother, Haunted Spirt.

Haunted Spirit is perhaps the most recognizable card in all of Death. It honestly might be one of the best tanks in the whole goddamn game. Overall it's stats grow at about the same pace as Animated Corpse but instead of just Void Haunted Spirit has Healing, Magic Reflect, AND Void.

That is nearly impossible to beat and, due to the other amazing utility cards Death splinter has at low costs, you can support your tank of choice in a number of ways. Have a look!

This is a great example of a disorganized VS an organized battleline. With no disrespect intended, my opponent is running a pile of the best Death cards and they are all well leveled, but it's a pile. It looks like they were trying to save mana by playing Skeletal Warrior and run some well costed blasters like Twisted Jester to get a good alpha strike.

My battleline is a strong contender for the best tank in Splinterlands, a great damager in Spider, and all support cards.

Let's see how that plays out.

DEATH IS MY FAVORITE SPLINTER

So how do you use Animated Corpse? Here is an example of me using my opponents strategy against in a battle later in the day.

Both my opponent and I saw the ruleset and decided to go for an 'alpha strike' strategy where we hit so hard our opponent just cant recover. Right off the bat, I've got a lot to be concerned about. My Zintar wiffed as my opponent has no melee monsters and Mitica Headhunter is an extremely powerful card. Not only that but Failed Summoner is my favorite micro-tank AND my opponent is running the single best creature in the game: Furious Chicken. However ...

MY CHICKEN IS SHINEY

... and my cards are leveled. I hope you enjoyed this Splinterlands article, thank you so much for your support, it really means a lot!
