Splinterland battles are more difficult but more rewarding

The changes in Splinterlands have come to stay and like many players, I'm adjusting to it. I use to battle my way into Champion 1 in the past but with the collection power thingy, I can't get past Diamond 2 for now.

I'm not complaining...anymore...about the collection power thing. I've made peace with it because I don't have a choice and secondly because it has actually led to an improvement in the game. In the past, I would get into the top tier but a part of me felt like I didn't deserve to be there. Yeah, along the way there would be a few underdog victories(from me) but my position was ultimately determined by beating up on them bots.

Now that the changes have been implemented, the game seems a lot more stressful and frankly speaking, I won't even be able to get into Champion 1 rank. Battles are harder and feel more organic, thus, giving me the gratification that comes from knowing I beat up another person rather than a soulless bot.

On top of that, the DEC reward per battle seems to have gone up a bit. I don't know the actual reason for this but yeah, I'm happy about it. One could realistically make up to 1000DEC(5hive) from winning like 26 fights daily.

With the price of DEC on the rise, and whispers about potential listing on external exchange, I think this will be a good time to get your gear and start battling on Splinterlands.
