Opening an UNTAMED pack and an ESSENCE ORB on Splinterlands !

Hello Everyone

Hopefully you all are well and I am also fine. A few days ago I opened an UNTAMED pack and an ESSENCE ORB . I bought the Untamed pack with DEC and found the Essence Orb from season rewards. I thought I can make a video of opening these packs and share it with you.

Let's talk about the UNTAMED pack

During this quarantine I am now more active on Splinterlands and I am enjoying it. Before buying that Untamed pack I had 5.5k DEC and I thought to buy an Untamed pack. I bought that pack with 2k DEC. Then I opened that pack and found 5 random Untamed cards where one was Rare.

I found :-

• 1x KOBOLD BRUISER
• 1x CAVE SLUG
• 1x MANTOID
• 1x HORNY TOAD
• 1x LIVING LAVA

Let's know something about these cards.

KOBOLD BRUISER

KOBOLD BRUISER is an Untamed Common Fire monster and also a melee card. It costs 3 mana only. It has no ability from level one but it has Knock Out ability in level six. Knock Out ability means Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned. It has good damage and speed also. I think this is a good card for Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak ability only.

CAVE SLUG

CAVE SLUG is an Untamed Common Life Monster and also a melee card. It costs 5 mana. I think this can be a good card if we use it properly. It has Opportunity ability from level one, Scavenger ability from level six and Slow ability from level ten. It has good melee damage also but it is quite slow card because it's speed is not that good. This card can be good in any rulesets I think.

MANTOID

MANTOID is an Untamed Common Neutral Monster and also a Range card. It costs 6 mana. It has Snipe ability from level one and Snare ability from level six. It has good damage , speed and health also. It can be a good card in any rulesets.

HORNY TOAD

HORNY TOAD is an Untamed Common Neutral Monster and also a melee card. It costs 3 mana only. It has Reach ability from level one and Poison from level six. I think this can be a good Reach card for the Bronze and Silver league players. It has also quite good damage and speed.

LIVING LAVA

LIVING LAVA is an Untamed Rare Fire monster and also a melee card. It costs 7 mana. It has good melee damage and health. But it is a Slow card. It has Shield ability from level one, Rust ability from level five and Thorns ability from level eight. I like this card and I use this card always when I play with Fire splinter. I like this card because of it's Shield ability.

Now let's talk about the ESSENCE ORB

I completed the last season in Diamond II league and I received an Essence Orb from that season end rewards. But I didn't open the orb that time because I wanted to make a video. After buying the Untamed pack I thought I can open both packs and make a video.

From the Orb I got :-

• 2x ELECTRIC EELS
• 1x GOBLIN CHEF
• 1x ENCHANTED DEFENDER
• 1x MOLTEN OGRE

Let's know something about these cards.

ELECTRIC EELS

Electric Eels is a Promo Rare Water monster and also a melee card. It costs 4 mana only. It has quite good damage and speed. It has Reach ability from level one and Blast ability from level five. It is one of my most favorite cards on Splinterlands and I always use this card when I play with Daria and Water splinter. I like this card because of it's Reach and Blast ability and also for low mana cost. This card is destructive because of it's Blast ability.

GOBLIN CHEF

GOBLIN CHEF is a Promo Common Earth monster and also a range card. It costs 3 mana only. It has no ability in level one, Affliction ability from level four and Poison ability from level eight. Poison is one of the destructive abilities and I like this ability. But I don't like this card and I never used it before.

ENCHANTED DEFENDER

ENCHANTED DEFENDER is a Promo Common Neutral monster and also a melee card. It costs 4 mana only. It has Thorns ability from level five. It also has quite good armors. It is a useful card in Super Sneak battles. If you set this card in the last position of your lineup in Super Sneak battles , it will serve you good because of it's Thorns ability.

MOLTEN OGRE

MOLTEN OGRE is a Promo Common Fire monster and also a melee card. It costs 9 mana which is too high. The bad sights of this card is , it costs 9 mana and it is a slow card. It has Demoralize ability from level one and Trample ability from level six. It has good damage and health but low speed. Once I used this card always when I was in Silver league. But now a days I don't use it because it is very slow.

Though I used Legendary and Alchemy potion, I didn't get any legendary or gold foil cards. The cards I got were useful but not valuable.
