Market Friday Prehistoric

A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.

For this week's post, I will share a few shots from the Dinosaur exhibition at the Museum of Natural History.
Now it may be debatable whether a museum is a market, but since you have to pay to visit the museum, then I will take it as enough justification to call this a Market Friday Post

Now do not ask me which Dinosaurs these are, as I was rushing through on this visit and didn't think to get shots of the signs by each display. but this one I am guessing is a Mammoth

And here is another shot of it from another angle, and I note the little model inthe front so I am sticking with my guess it is a Mammoth

And another one of the displays some early form of Deer maybe

Another display which I have no idea what it is but glad its not roaming around these days it looks quite feirce.

And finishing off where I started with a shot of the Mammoth again this time in mono, I guess it was my favorite piece inthe display or the one with less people around so easy to get shots of.

And that’s all folks

My youngest nephew is in a dinosaur phase right now. It is a lot of fun to watch him get excited about it. I remember when my oldest nephew was in this phase. I think I learned as much as they did just from them telling me facts and stuff.

Mammoth thinking outside the box, great sharing a market full of extraordinary items such as this. I think you got it right, does not matter either way since the photography takes on a story all of it's own!

Oh by the way the last photo is the one I like most, yes dragged to all these places when the boys were young, got quite an education by excited boys for weeks after as well.

It is always amazing to see dinosaur bones. It is hard to believe they use to roam around our world.

poor mammoths, they have such heavy tusks ... they probably therefore died out because they were tired of carrying them

Wow how awesome to see these prehistoric megafauna @tattoodjay!
Especially the megaloceros giant elk, almost like moose antlers!
The photo under him looks like a short faced bear? Front photo of
the mammoth is outstanding! Love these photographs!

Fabulous shots here JJ and one of my favorite bands was TRex Lol.
I think that this post is great for #marketfriday, as it is something different.
Maybe the good Lady @dswigle would agree with me.
Blessings!

A museum is always a market of sorts! You know that! :) This was awesome and I do love the Museum of Natural History! That step into Jurassic Park wowed me when I was a kid and it still does today. I cannot wrap my head around the fact of giant creatures roaming the earth.

I really liked the tone in the first shots. Was that the overall effect of the Museum or you? I only want to know because it is very appealing.

Of course, the wooly mammoth here in our Natural History is my fave. Glad to see I have good taste. :) Thank you for being a part of the challenge and taking the time and effort to put it together.
