The introductory cartoon says it all - hiding all the corruption etc. behind a shield.

I misunderstood that the debt ceiling had been raised, but it's been SUSPENDED for 2 years. Now unlimited spending!

Foreign banks in trouble - not good!

China and Iran in Venezuela, didn't know about this.

Thanks for posting this Greg Hunter weekly wrap up on Steemit.

Yes, many will misunderstand the debt ceiling limit bill. It essentially allows the government to spend as much as they want for the next two years. You want a $10T stimulus spending bill, no problem; You want to bail out an industry, no problem; ... and so forth, and so forth for the next two years.

Most people will be glad that the debt ceiling debate is a non-issue and there will be no threat of a government shutdown for the next two years. This I believe will let the debt game keep going for two more years. By then the debt ceiling will automatically be set to whatever it is two years from now. Want to lay bets... my guess is well north of $30T. My upper bound would be $50T.

Those government contractors must be loving it.

Even though Greg did not display a lot of articles in his weekly roundup, it was packed full of information you may not hear elsewhere.

Have a great weekend!
Steem on,
Mike

Thanks for your informative reply.
Yes, deficit spending will will surge to unimaginable levels. Does the majority of the public really understand what a trillion is? I think not!
Quite surprised that the debt ceiling limit bill had little opposition, as far as I am aware.
Again, thanks for the time stamps on Greg's video,so that I can get to the relevant content. Although his reporting on American politics is interesting, I have enough trouble keeping up with the politics in the UK.

Have a wonderful weekend.
