Grum Flameblade - Legendary Chaos Legion Airdrop

In case you are living under a rock, Grum Flameblade is a legendary monster card that you can get from Chaos Legion Airdrop by holding Chaos Legion packs.

如果你还不知道，Grum Flameblade是一张传奇怪物卡，你可以通过持有 Chaos Legion 卡包从 Chaos Legion Airdrop 获得这张卡。

This card has a bloodlust effect at level 1 that no other cards have except for the Gladius cards.
Basically every stat of your card will increase by 1 if your monster manage to kill an opponent.

这张卡在等级1级的时候就具有Bloodlust的效果叻，除了Gladius卡牌以外其他卡所都没有这个效果。它的效果就是当你这只拥有Bloodlust效果的卡牌杀死对方一只怪兽时，你的卡的每一个属性都会加一。

I only managed to rent a level 1 Grum but if you can upgrade it to level 3, it is very strong because of Void and Giant Killer, a strong tank against Magic and even stronger offense against high mana monsters on top of the high base damage it already has. Only downside is it's 1 speed but on the other hand it will be very strong in reverse speed ruleset match.

我只能租到一个1等级的Grum，但如果你能把它升级到等级3，它就会变得非常强大，因为Void加上Giant Killer，会把它变成一个能对付魔法的强大坦克，甚至可以对高能量的怪物造成巨大的伤害。唯一的缺点是速度只有1，不过在Reverse Speed的关卡反而会吃香。

Rules 规则: Super Sneak, 36 Mana, Fire/Life/Death/Dragon

[Tarsa] - A strong fire summoner, provides 1 health and 1 attack

Opponent tried to do the same thing by using Exploding Rat and Exploding Dwarf to blast attack me from the back but unfortunately for him, my Creeping Ooze slowed him down so I attacked first, causing him to lose 3 monsters at the end of the turn. We also finally able to see Grum's Bloodlust take effect here raising all his stats up by 1.

As expected, most of the attacks are absorbed by my Living Lava while I destroy the hell out of him,

Grum didn't shine much throughout this match but it instead shows how important positioning is in this game and speed matters.

You might think a card with high attack, health point and shields will be super overpowered with bloodlust, well yes and no. The 1 speed on the card is a good balance, as you can see here, my thought process before going in was using Grum and Qid's pierce to pierce through every monsters and level up my stats every time I kill a monster and claim the victory but oh boy I was so wrong.

Enemy uses Demoralize to reduce my attack, and his Summoner adds a shield and speed to every monster. My Grum couldn't even land an attack throughout the whole game, because of the high speed and Dodge that the enemy's tank has, it is the perfect counter for Grum. So bloodlust means nothing when you can't hit your opponent, that is a flaw or balance shall I say that Grum possess (of course maybe I lost due to my crappy line up decision).

敌人使用 Demoralize 来减低我的攻击，他的召唤师为每个怪物增加一个盾牌和速度。我的 Grum 在整个游戏中甚至无法做出任何攻击，因为敌人坦克的高速和闪避，是 Grum 的完美克星。所以当你无法击中对手时，Bloodlust 就变得毫无意义，或者应该说 Grum 拥有的缺陷或平衡（当然，也许我输了是因为我糟糕的阵容决定）。

Best time to use Grum | 那么什么时候应该用 Grum

So when should we use Grum? Well I have learnt that it is not ideal to just mindlessly spam Grum every time. It will not always secure a win, sometimes it could be the cause of your lost. It thrives under certain situations with certain rulesets, for example:

那到底什么时候才用 Grum 呢？我了解到每次盲目地使用 Grum 是不理想的。它并不能总是确保胜利，有的时候它反而可能是你失败的原因。它在某些规则下反而会发挥的更好，例如：

Reverse speed: Grum will be the fastest when there's a reverse speed ruleset
当有Reverse Speed的时候，格鲁姆将会是最快的

Super sneak / Melee Mayhem / Equal Opportunity: You can place Grum at the back so it won't get damaged early on and still manage to land attacks.
你可以将 Grum 放在后面，这样它就不会在早期的时候受到伤害，并且仍然可以进行攻击。

Spreading Fury: Since Grum has high health points, Spreading Fury is a great ruleset to play with, crazy high damage and bloodlust complement each other.
由于Grum的生命值很高，Spreading Fury是一个很好的利用规则，可以让 Spreading Fury 的高伤害和 Bloodlust 相得益彰。

Unprotected: Obviously without shields on the opponent team, Grum will thrive.

Conclusion | 结论

That's about it for this one, in conclusion, Grum is indeed a strong legendary monster especially with the Bloodlust ability, but it still needs you to put in some thought while playing it in order to maximize it's ability.
