My thoughts on scorum, sprtshub and sportstalksocial. (Issue 1)

Hello everyone, the emergence of tribes through the steem-engine network has brought about the trending of sportstalksocial.com. Sportstalksocial.com is a tribe that promotes all sporting activities and encourages users to write on sports activities and events. To some people, they see sportstalksocial as the first blockchain social platform that centers on sports but they are wrong.

I personally have an account on two other sports blockchain platform which is;

• scorum.com and
• sprtshub.com

I will quickly brush through each of this platform and highlights what makes them differ from one another. Let’s start with scorum, then sprtshub with sportstalksocial coming last.

NOTE: This post is gonna be broken down into two part i.e issue 1 and issue 2.
The first issue will introduce the platforms briefly and also discussing on their features while the Issue 2 will talk about the cons and pro of each platforms before my decision will be made on which is the best. (don’t get me wrong, they are all great platforms).

Scorum

Scorum.com is the father to all other sport social blockchain platform because it is the first sport optimized blogging platforms that reward s its users who creates create sports related contents and also makes comments.
Scorum was founded in February, 2017 and held an open crowdsale in January and February 2018. Scorum chief executive officer (C.E.O) is Vladidlav Artemyev, with his co-founders as Nikolai pobol, Andrei Filipopvich and Alexeyu Belov.Source

The token gotten as reward for posting on scorum is called scorum coins (SCR) and it is currently valued at $0.007630 USD and the total supply of SCR is 29,265,075 SCR. source

Sprtshub

Sprtshub is a sport blogging platform and has been around for a while now but still appears new to most people. It was formerly built on the steem blockchain platforms as a dapp before it moved to stand on its own on the EOS blockchain. The founder of sprtshub is Ejemai Jospeh who was an ex banker.
On sprtshub, you earn sprtshubcoin (SHC). The total SHC supply is 300 million and it been powered through EOSIO software.

Sportstalksocial

Sportstalksocial.com is a product of the steem-engine tribe initiative and this is one of the factor that has made the platform an instant hit success. The platforms currently have 574 people who have stacked a SPORTS token. A SPORTS token is the reward gotten from posting sports related activities on the platform. To sign up, you need to have a steemit account.
What makes sportstalksocial stand out is the sports tube. The sports tube allows you to upload your own original sport videos on the sportstalksocial platform and you still get to earn sports through it. At the time of writing, they are 1012 steemit users using sportstalksocial while a total of 12,368,770.843 SPORTS are been staked by 574 accounts

Similarities between Scorum, Sprtshub and Sportstalksocial are:

• They are all sporting blockchain platforms
• They all reward contents creators with crypto-currency
• You can delegate power on any of them
• They all function on delegation proof of stake (DpoS)
