A WEEKEND OF COLORFUL FLOWERS AND WILDLIFE!

IMG_5620-s.JPG

Greetings this fine weekend. I trust everyone is enjoying it. My weekends are about the same as weekdays, with the exception of my friend being here working on tiling the house. As a care provider there is seldom a day off.

This weekend I am continuing to clean out my old business files. Boxing up what I need to keep and putting it in storage. My goal is to reduce much of the furniture and clutter in my home office. I can only handle a little of it at a time, although I am making steady progress.

My oldest dog who has seizures is doing better. I make sure I give her medicine before one comes on. Friday morning we noticed a behavior that seemed to be similar to what we thought preceded other seizures. I immediately gave her medicine immediately. She was back to normal with in a few minutes. So we think we found what to watch for besides giving her medicine twice a day.

I am sure you have noticed the beautiful lavender rose above. I took so many beautiful rose photos last week that I am still not through them all. This one caught my attention and I am using it for my desktop picture. I figured some might enjoy this one.

This next photo is of some foliage, although I have no idea what it is, but really like the blend of colors:

IMG_5637-S.JPG

This next photo is a nice close-up of a marigold. At least that is what I believe it is. Sometimes after taking so many different flower photographs it is difficult to tell the difference. I just love the unique blend of orange colors:

IMG_5690-S.JPG

I found another Lily in my flower photographs. A nice bright yellow one:

IMG_5644-S.JPG

Here is another photo that I am not recognizing the flower. If I recall it was low growing and I took this Macro-shot:

IMG_5687-S.JPG

I saved for my last photo in this post a photo taken by my game camera. These two bucks are still in velvet as you can see. They are probably 2 to 3 years old. It is difficult to tell this year based on antler size because I have noticed even the yearlings have larger antlers than I usually see. You can see one of my sheds on the right side of the photo. This gives an idea of how close they are to our house. The one is using the salt/sulfur lick I set out for them. The sulfur helps reduce the tics. Without them some of the deer would be in rough shape.

STC_0222-S.JPG

This brings us to the end of the photographs for my weekend post. As usual I hope you find at least one item here that you enjoy.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for all of these photographs, except where noted.
NAMASTE

I shared previously @socialbot, which is a bid bot, raises money for @schoolforsdg4, and eventually additional social programs. You can use their bid bot or delegate to them. I am doing both. Their link is https://steemit.com/@socialbot

end of post graphic.png

I am seeing more people using the neoxian and palnet tags in there posts, and now creativecoin. The first two are open to most posts, although creativecoin requires that there is some creativity involved in your post. I joined their discord channel and asked about my photography and it fits their requirements. Before using any of these or others as a tag be sure it fits the intent of the token. Using these when posting on steemit can help you earn money on the other three platforms, as well as steemit. If you vote on someone's post who uses these tags you probably already having earnings in respective wallets. If you have not done so, then look into those wallets and see. With the price of Steem being low the extra earnings can help a lot.

Information an another bid-bot and/or place to delegate for more earnings is found here: https://www.neoxian.city/neoxian/@zaku/introducing-neoxag-bid-bot-sink-delegate-steem-power-and-earn-neoxag-each-and-every-day-passive-profit-for-upvote-buyers

As many of you already know I list a few charitable users that I try and support. I include them as partial Beneficiaries of my posts. It is a small amount that they will receive, yet each is doing a lot to help people. Please check out their blogs and support them in anyway you can.

I have supported these for quite awhile. I am researching newer ones, and once I feel comfortable that they are doing what they say they are doing I may include more. Each will receive a portion of earnings from this post

@aid.venezuela
@schoolforsdg4
@theunion
@womenempowerment

Each of these users have a unique service they provide and I applaud their good work. Thank you for considering them.

Thank you very much. I appreciate it!

When I take photographs my mind just slows down and relaxes. I may not get to see the result right away, but when I do I again find it very relaxing.

Thank you very much. I finally got my daughter to use her Macro lens. I just love what I can do with it.

My dog has gone seizure free since the last one several days ago. We noticed a behavior that we thought we had seen prior to some of her other seizures, so I immediately gave her a dropper full of CBD oil. She got back to normal quickly and no seizure.

Awesome pink rose flower and the small purple color macro-shot is quite beautiful. Sir, you are really very organized in your life, so many things you are managing in daily schedule and that to at this age. You are an inspiration to others.

Probably you are living very close to nature and if that is the case, then you are really fortunate. Living close to nature always inspires life in a very different way and that is essential for physical and psychological well-being. The flowers always reminds me the beauty of life. Your blog is really beautiful just like that pink rose.

Wow! These weekend's selection is illuminating. Such intensity in those colors. From the terse rose to the flaming marigold. Absolutely amazing shots.
I think we have a floliage similar to the one you posted here. It blooms in tiny pale purple flowers.
Glad to know your dog is doing better.
I did not know sulfur was good to combat ticks. would it work the same with dogs?
You have a great rest-of-the-weekend (we have spent ours trying to have some fans fixed, heat and mosquitoes are making our lives miserable)

Thank you very much. I appreciate it!

I am not sure if sulfur would work to repel tics on dogs. My veterinarian will be here tomorrow. I will try and remember to ask her. It would be better than tic collars which put off poison. We do not have issues with fleas, just tics.

I missed one year have a sulfur/salt lick for the deer because I could not find any. By Spring they were so bad the deer wee starting to look emaciated. Now When I find them I buy up ac couple 50 pound blocks so it is always available to them

Thanks for the reply. Lucky deers!
Animal products used to be very cheap here, but in the last 5 years or so the prices of the simplests things, such as soap, skyrocketed and now vaccines or any vital medications are just our of budget. Thus, we have to figure out home made remedies for every thing.

Salam! Thank you very much. I must confess I have overlooked your blog posts. I made a visit today.

I see you used creativecoin for a tag in your flower photograph post...Your wallet shows you have some tokens that need to be staked so you can increase earnings from voting on posts using the tag. You should also look at neoxian. My 20% upvote here on steemit will be much strong on neoxian.

Flowers are always beautiful, I have taken some pictures of these yellow lilies, my mother says they are wild lilies. I find them in the cloud forest where the temperature is around 19 degrees and they seem to enjoy this cold environment.
I hope your dog gets stable, he is lucky to have you.

Flowers are precious gift of nature, but the photographic skill has a role to play to bring out that essence of beauty. I can feel something excellent when I see that pink rose. Pink is a color generally expressed in love and you are the one sir who always love to the steemians.

By the way that deer is trying smell what? Deer is so cute.

Wonderful photography grandfather. But how do you get close to that deer, don't they run away when you get closer to them to take a shot? Or you use any sort of telescopic lens?

Thank you. For the deer, in this case, I have what is called trail cameras or game cameras tied to a tree. It is motion sensitive during the day and heat sensitive at night. I then sort through the photos and keep the better ones. I also have a telephoto lens that I use when I can.

First of all, I will like to appreciate you @r2cornell for giving me the opportunity to discuss this with you and will try to address all that is necessary in this writeup.

I am Sam from Nigeria, a young and vibrant graduate of Civil Engineering who takes interest in writing, reading, swimming (shark...lol!) and soccer. My articles major mainly on business/investments, cryptocurency/blockchain, sports, poem, games and other interesting topics that interest my followers and add value to their steemit experience.

Furthermore, I will like you to know I have been a longstanding member of the Steemit community for over one year and I have been very active and dedicated towards the growth of the platform even in times of bear market.

Even though I am not fortunate enough to have the money to invest into the platform as I am only a fresh graduate living off my parents and no source of income yet, I think it is very important that I also let you know that I have been trying my best to make sure all my actions on this platform are dedicated towards fostering the growth of this great platform and building the Steem economy in general.

It is also worthy to note that I haven't powered down my SP for once since when I joined the Steem blockchain. I was also a participant of the seven77 STEEM Twitter Movement organised by @nathanmars towards making $7.77 STEEM a reality this year. You can confirm that on my twitter page here.

The reason I want upvotes is because I want to earn more Steem Power which will sure give me more stake in promoting quality and original contents published by people especially newbies like me on the platform so that I can help them grow as I grow too. I'm sure you would agree with me that these actions will sure help in promoting community engagement as one of the main features on which the Steemit Platform is built upon is Upvoting, alongside Commenting and Resteeming.

And of course, I need part of those liquid steem as well to support myself financially (but am definitely not selling at this low price since I know it's negative on the steem economy) as one of the main reason most of us if not all are here is because there is money involved. Sincerely speaking, I doubt if I would even be here in the first place if the money is not involved. However, I try to make sure all my actions and decisions doesn't negatively affect or hinder the growth of the platform in any way.

Another plan I have for the remaining part of the liquid steem is to use it in promoting the Steemit community and/or blockchain revolution. The question is how do I plan to go about this? Yes! It is simple.

Within the past few weeks, Steemit has been experiencing series of growth with the introduction and creation of new Steem Tribes such as Palnet, Neoxian, Steemleo, Stemgeeks, Steemace, Marlians, SportstalkSocial and lots more, and they have their respective native tokens trading already on Steem Engine.

So, my plan is to invest in some of these steem tribe platforms by buying their tokens via steem engine with part of the proceeds I earned on my posts as liquid steem and stake them, so that I can support other people with my upvotes and also build value for these steem tribe platforms and its economy. Note that I already staked some steem tribe tokens such as Neoxag, Sports, Lasse, Palcoin, and Leo.

I will be very glad if my request is being granted, and once again, thanks very much for giving me the opportunity to express myself.
