Keep An Eye on Your Splintertalk VP Bar ~
Hi Everyone,
Two days ago, I have noticed my vote on Splinterland haven’t been given the usual upvote amount to my followers and other fellow Splinterland users. I normally keep my Steemit VP around early 90s so I can make sure everyone has a nice upvote when I do them throughout the day (although my SP is pretty low LOL). The SPT given by my 100% vote was ALOT lower so I thought it was a system glitch so I waited another day. Same thing happened so I messaged @aggroed just to check and he said he will do some digging for me. Just before I went to sleep, it occurred to me maybe Splinterland has a different VP consumption and recovery when voting like SCT. So the next morning, I checked and guess what I found on top of the forum.
Yep my voting bar. As you can see, my Steem VP is over 90% but my Splinterland VP is way lower than my Steem VP. I would thought it would be relatively the same but it wasn’t hence that is why my votes worth so much less than usual. I then went to @blockchainstudio‘s clever github tool and it answered all my questions.
So if you curating on the forum or on Splinterlands, please keep in mind your Splinterland VP and NOT your Steemit VP.
Note to my followers who uses Splinterlands.io, don’t think I am not reading your posts, I just want to build up my VP until it get to at least 90% so move vote will worth more each click. Hope this little trick will help you manage your VP and not go through what I need to go through now.

Solid tip, lol I forget that these sites don't work with the steem VP and i'll upvote and nothing happens but its because I don't have much stake, hoping to earn a bit more so I can be more active with curation. Also, that tool is pretty handy. We're going to need more of it or a cool intergration with front ends so we always know where we stand across platforms

How is that possible? If you give a 100% spt upvote it should also reduce your Steem VP by the same amount? But not all your upvotes goes to splintertalk/forum so your Steem VP should be always lower than your spt’s. At least that’s what mine looks like.
Anyway I guess I was wrong about spt. It is worth something 😂

yah i don't get it either .... it was like 30% when i first checked .... maybe its a bug??
