Random thought: I miss opening packs. Also, I got my first Mystery Potion in a long time.

As I continue my time away from the game, I'm realizing that part of the fun is collecting the cards themselves, not just battling. Opening packs and hoping for something good is apparently a big part of it as well.

Because I'm not even getting quest rewards at the moment, I decided to buy a Brilliant Mystery Potion to get some gifts over the next 5 days. I've had so-so luck with these in the past, but it felt like a good time to try it again. I did get an Archmage Arius at one point. That's actually when I stopped buying the potions.

Saving DEC for the Alchemy and Legendary potions was my original plan, but I guess that DEC was just burning a hole in my pocket. Here's hoping I get something good! I'll receive some charges on the potions from the Kickstarter, and then maybe I'll also burn the gold foil Chain Golem that I'm getting. That'll give me plenty of DEC to get some potions, and then maybe I can get a max level card or two from the Untamed packs. It's possible, but not likely in the number of packs I'll have. Especially considering there are going to be more cards in the Untamed cards than there were in the Beta cards.

I can't wait to open the Untamed packs!

That's when I'll probably finally start playing again. There are no contracts or anything involved in setting up a Herons Unlimited account, so technically, I can end that any time I want. I would never do it in the middle of a season, though, and I want to give it a good couple of seasons at least to make it fair and worthwhile to the player. I"ll work on maxing out some of the ones I have in my collection that aren't delegated out (I only delegated the max level ones) and maybe I'll actually keep those to play with along with the Untamed cards.

Maybe I should stop typing out every little thought I have about what I might possibly do in the future regarding a game. :)
