Look Ma, No Potions

I've been seeing a lot of posts from people showing off all the Legendary and Gold Foil (and Legendary Gold Foil) cards they have been getting using the Brilliant Legendary and Brilliant Alchemy potions to boost their odds of getting Legendary and Gold Foil (and Legendary Gold Foil) cards when they open booster packs, orbs and their reward cards.

Well I'm here to tell you that you don't need those very expensive potion to get an occasional Gold Foil and Legendary card. Just a few minutes ago I got my daily reward cards and I was lucky enough to get both! Here they are:

I suppose if I was a Champion League player who was getting 10,000 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) or more a day, I might spend some of them on those potions. But I'm lucky lately to get 500 DEC in a day. So the idea of spending over 19,000 DEC on a single potion seems rather absurd.

No, I'll spend my DEC on Orbs and cards I need in the market and let my luck fall where it may.
