My rewards this Splinterlands season haven't been anything to sing about. As a result, it's been a while since I posted about the rewards I've received. But today I got something that I have never received before in my Daily Quest Rewards.

Two Gold Foil cards!

Proof that sometimes lightning does strike the same place twice.

Just these two gold cards are worth 1500 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC). Even though the price of DEC is once again rising, now that we can use it to purchase Beta Booster Packs, these cards have a much higher going price in the market than just the value of their DEC. Why? Because gold cards like these can earn you bonus amounts of DEC when you put them to work in arena battles. With the rising price of DEC, I imagine gold foil cards will continue to rise in price.

So, I'll be holding on to these cards and using them in the arena when I can. The extra DEC they bring me will come in handy when I head back to the Splinterlands Shop to pick up some more Potions, Packs and Orbs.
