Weekly Splinterlands Quest Rewards
I rarely miss my Splinterlands quests. For the most part it's how I build my deck. Each night I score a few rewards cards and a little DEC that I use to buy additional booster packs!
For the first time in a long while I missed a couple quests last week. As some of you know we closed our family retail business last October. apparently a huge bullet dodged! I'll post more on that in another post, for now I've been working to liquidate the last of the displays and merchandise. We basically closed the business and filled the basement and garage of our home with displays and products. I WANT MY GARAGE BACK. I've got motorcycles to work on and build, and other manly stuff to do! So the priority this week has been get rid of all this extra stuff, earn some money, and get my garage back.
So here are last weeks quest rewards.
Scored some really powerful cards in this first lot. Wave Runner is a great REACH card for the Water Splinter. Also really stoked about the Silvershield Assassin and the Silvershield Sheriff. Anyone else notice the high mana cost of the new cards. I wonder what Splinterlands is up to? Both those cards are really fun to use in high mana battles.
In this next lot I scored another Gold Foil Centauri Mage. Some of you might remember I scored one of these last week in my Tournament Rewards. I combined them and now have a level 3 Centauri Mage!
Nothing to really write home about in this lot. Undead Rex is good tank card and I'm always happy to get more cards to level up. I use the Gelatinous Cube from time to time as well. I rarly use the Baby Unicorn, or the Kelp Initiate. Scored a nice amount of DEC though!
Lastly we have another Centauri Mage, more DEC, another Undead Rex and Kelp Initiate and we'll finish off with the Nectar Queen another high mana tank card.
Pretty happy with the last few quest rewards. A little bummed that I missed a few quests. For me, the quests are a great way to deck build, and it's my daily bit of fun. I generally try to make time each day for a little questing.

Getting some rare and gold cards is a bonus. I sold a few of my regular cards and kept the golds to use as you get a DEC bonus for using them. I should make Champion 2 again, but soon we will be limited by the value of our decks. The advantage is that the bot accounts will not be able to get very high.
