Nov. 8, 19: Walking, Zombierun, and Cleaning up Leaves

Another solid day coming to a close. 😀 I did the usual chores and stuff in the morning. Got the amazing news that my name appeared at Steem Fest! I guess detlev was talking about the !BEER community. It’s just under @tggr; kinda’ hard to see.

My Steemmonsters quest actually wasn’t too bad today, and I was finally able to cross up into Gold II! 👍. Definitely an awesome pull today; lots of rare and an epic! I spent some DEC and leveled up a couple cards today including that javelin thrower.

Bitcoin took a five percent bear break, so erased most of my profit. Still waiting for a solid green candle before I enter into another trade. Hate missing out on a break, though...what I wouldn’t give to be able to see a day or two into the future.

In the afternoon I went for a nice long walk down my favorite ten kilometer route...straight shot through the countryside.

Waited for it to warm up as much as it was going to, but despite my patience, there was STILL snow on the ground from two days ago 😢

Nice and sunny and not as much wind as the last few days, but only just above freezing 🥶.

They were really going to town spraying today...sucks being right under the corridor between two major airports. Stripy clouds aren’t supposed to be.

The puffy white clouds were casting some amazing shadows in the fields. I tried to chase one down where there was a line halfway through the field of light and dark, but I couldn’t quite catch up to it. Even so, this one came out pretty cool.

Take me home, country road...

Holy crap the zombies were out today!!! ELEVEN of eleven flesh feasters fu$&ed and not even a single warning. 😁

The rest of the afternoon and into the evening I spent cleaning up the leaves in the yard. It’s kind of nice that the village comes by with a big truck to suck them all up; keeps the air a lot cleaner for people with respiratory problems than burning them all. Plus, I believe they get turned into compost, which is a double bonus.

My arms and shoulders are feel in’ it. Probably going to feel it in the morning as well.

I did some more thinking about the game, but didn’t actually sit down and get anything done. Not sure what my issue is with that, but it’s alright, I got some stuff done in real life.
