This evening Genk will play it's second home game of this Champions League campaign! And while I am not such an admirerer of Liverpool it is a blast to play a home game against the defending Champion! What makes it even better is that Liverpool can't afford themselves loosing points away at Genk! Which means that they will probably play with their strongest line-up!

What to expect!

First of all I do hope it will be the same atmosphere in the stadion as last time against Napoli! That one was a blast!
Secondly, I do hope that Mazzu fires up his player and that they step on the pitch as real warriors! Just like they did against Napoli!
Thirdly: besides the above 2 points! Nothing I do expect nothing!
While a draw already would be a miracle, I don't see this happening. Of course each game have to be played and you never know what happens. An early goals on a corner or counter, a penaly with a red card for Liverpool and so on!

Al lot with also depend on the tactic Mazzu is planing the use and which players he will send out! I do hope that he doesn't change too much! The game against Standard last weekend wasn't so bad!
Probably at the back Dewaest will be replaced by Cuesta. But Mazzu is thinking about playing with 5 defenders, which I don't think will be a good plan! Yes, we probably need to adjust a little bit against Liverpool, but there is no reason to try out a tactic which hasn't been used before!
The key is in the midfield! Bergen is pretty keen to play in the Premier League, so I do expect a very motivated Bergen. Often I do find that he is evoiding the contact with his opponent and I do hope that he will just do that this evening!
Than I also hope that Heynen keeps his place and maybe that Hagi is replaced with Hrosovsky! Hagi isn't playing bad the last weeks but not great either!
And than the big question does he has the nuts to play with 2 forwards! I don't think so, but that would surprise Klopp for sure! Samata as forward which roams and Onuachu as the target man!
We will get goals against! No doubt about this! So we will have to try to score!

Players to watch!

While I am not a fan of Liverpool, I do admire some of their players!
I really hope that Origi will get some minutes on the pitch! He is a youth player of Genk, so it would be great to see him playing!
Also looking forward to Mane! He will be the direct opponent of Maehle! It will be a tough evening for Maehle!
Also Van Dijk is interesting to see. I do think that he will look very impressive!
And than the top star of Liverpool! Salah! Coming back from an injury he will probably not play the 90 minutes. But we did see last evening with Mbappe against Club Brugge what a difference such a type of player can make!

The oldest son probably will be interested in the duels between Maehle and Sane. And will try to learn something from Gomez who does play on the same position as he does!

While I do think that we will get our ass kicked! Mircales do happen once in a while!
As long as the player of Genk give everything they have, the complete stadion will stay behind them for the complete duration of the game!
