Yesterday I was playing some Splinterlands earlier in the day. I didn't play a lot this season, sometimes I did do my daily quest but not every day. So I was still in Gold 3 due to not playing much. I usually end up either in Gold 2 or Gold 1 by the end of the season. I decided to play a bit more after getting my daily quest done as I got into Gold 2 while doing my quest and figured I might as well play a bit more since I had the time and try to reach Gold 1. Which I succeeded in doing.

In the evening or at night I decided to play a bit more and see if I could end up reaching Diamond 3. It took me a while as I frequently had some losses in between wins. Sometimes I would get 3 wins in a row and thus get bonus rating with the 3rd win, but then lose the next one and have to try for some wins again to get the bonus. Overall I was able to climb though. Around 2700 rating seemed to be the most annoying as I would often go over 2700 and then drop below it again. Eventually I succeeded and reached Diamond 3 for the first time ever!

Which I find to be quite the feat for me! Especially as my cards are several levels below the maximum level allowed in Gold.

Reaching Diamond 3 gives me a nice increase in end of reason rewards compared to Gold 1 and the season would be about to end. I started writing this post a bit before the season ends. That way I can include the rewards that I get for this end of season as well.

I bought 40 Legendary potions and 40 Alchemy potions in order to increase my chances for legendary and my chances to get golden cards from the ends of season rewards.

Here are all the cards I got from it.

When I saw the 2 show up on the Exploding Dwarf I didn't imagine it would turn gold, but when it did I was quite surprised! I ended up receiving 4 different golden cards and 5 in total. I already had golden copies of Exploding Dwarf and Goblin Mech. The Screeching Vulture and Gremlin Blaster are new golden cards for me! As for regular cards I managed to get 2 Epic rarity cards. Unfortunately no Legendary card in these season rewards, better luck next time! Overall these season rewards are definitely great with 5 golden cards in it and two of them being new golden cards for my collection!
