I couldn't be more into this game right now: I'm actually playing for a top spot in the bronze league! Still, I'll always find time for the amazing "Share Your Battle" Weekly Challenge.

This week card is a card I know pretty much nothing about: I'm not a big fan of Life Splinter, and when I play it, I normally go full Melee with Silvershield Knight combined with monsters with Sneak ability and a Divine Healer to slow the process.
More than that, I'm not 100% comfortable playing monsters with Snipe, expecially in low mana cap battle: too often you can waste your attack.
So Lone Boatman, it's been a while since I played you: time to get back to know each other!

Covering the dirtiest work in the land, the Boatmen are an extremely important piece of the Khymian societal machine. They manage the fishing and seafood industry, but also maintain the boats and control all InterSplinter trade. Boatmen are the only Khymians to live consistently outside the mountain walls. Sadly, when Khymeria is attacked by outside forces, the Boatmen are the first to know. They are however, a physical force to be reckoned with.

LONE BOATMAN AS AN INVESTMENT

Lone Boatman doesn't seem to be one of the most popular card in the game, despite not being bad at all. Market trends seem to confirm this idea. I personally never bought one, I actually own one of them at level 2 which I earned from Untamed packs opening.
The value of this card is on slowly descending trend (-27% in the last month) with an average price of 0.024 $ BCX.

Still, it's one the cheapest card in the game, and one of the most easy to level up. That's it: a quite useful card, easy to level up, I'm not seeing it rising in price in the future. Lone Boatman is better as card than as an investment.

MY STRATEGY

I was experimenting a little bit with Lone Boatman before finding a good balanced setup to show you: unfortunately, when I think I found a good solution, my opponent didn't show up and played very poorly. Or maybe he was a 5 year old drunk, who knows?

I decided to show you the battle anyway because I believe my could be a good strategy and work in other situations too.

I used as first monster my usual Chain Golem, able to resist with its Shield ability, followed by a Furious Chicken (to absorb enemy's first Snipe Attack), a Light Elemental (cheap and powerful with its magic attack) our man itself Lone Boatman, to attack enemy's backup line, a Divine Healer to slow the process and a Halfling Alchemist that is the perfect partner for Chain Golem.

Again, my strategy was useless against my enemy's clever setup (!), but I still believe it could work in many situations because of its balance ( and relative few weak points)
