My Steemmonsters Adventure - Unexpected Gold foil card from today's quest rewards

Today was a very busy day. Though the day was not completely productive, I did find some time for myself today and wasted some time lavishly. Once in a while, it happens. When there are continuous productive days, there will also be some non-productive days and I don't take it too much to my head because I will anyways compensate the time I wasted today in the coming days. But of all the non-productive activities that I did today, I also spent some time to play steemmonsters. I was actually reading a little about some game strategies and also how to make my deck even better.

I received the above cards from the daily quest today. I did not expect that I would be getting any gold foil card or any legendary card. It was a big surprise to see this gold foil card. I actually have the same gold foil card already with me. Now I have to think if I should be upgrading the existing card or sell it in the market to purchase some additional cards. To be honest, I don't play much using my Death Splinter and especially I hardly use this Undead Minotaur card.

I'm also not sure how upgrading of Gold Foil cards works. For example, this card shows as level 4 but when I check the BCX, it is still 1. I have to understand a little on that topic on how it works.
