Splinterlands - No heart to sell or burn Spirit Miner

A few days back I wrote an article about how to enjoy using my Ruler of the seas gold foil card. Today I remembered that Spirit miner has also been one of the most interesting cards for me lately. It has helped me a lot in winning many games. I have to admit that I'm very fortunate to receive both these cards.

When I first received this card, I did not know the capabilities of this card and I even didn't realize that this card is worth so much. A few days after receiving this card from the rewards, I casually checked the price of this card in the market and I was stunned. It was worth 750$ and there was just one card listed out there for that price. I know for sure that it cannot be the case because when we burn a card the maximum we get is 75000 DEC so, a card cannot be valued so much.

It was so tempting for me to place a sell order for at least 500$ which will anyways be a great profit for me and I can focus on upgrading my deck to the next level. But my greed made me place the order for 600$. I didn't care about the card for a long time after that. Later I noticed that there were many sellers and the card price started dropping drastically.

I guess people are trying to sell this card today for 59$ which is around 10$ higher than the price of 75000 DEC which people would get if they burn the card. I have started using this card in the battles nowadays. I'm no longer interested in selling this card even if the price again goes beyond 100$. The reason is that I find my water deck powerful with this card with the combination of Ruler of the Seas as well.

If I had some steem to invest, I would even try upgrading Spirit miner to the next level by purchasing another card and by combining it with the existing card. The reason is that this card has made my journey very interesting with the water splinter.

Dang I did not remember seeing the card even at $100 or above. Great that you are keeping it though.

I was overwhelmed to see that in 750$ not knowing the fact that the actual price can never be that much. It is purely based on demand and supply.
