In Untamed Summoners I Trust - Steemmonsters

My addiction to playing steemmonsters have not subsided. It has only gotten more intense in recent days. With the new cards and new combo formation the battles are getting much more intricate.

There are my struggles in the game but also triumph. I was able to earn DEC from a couple of bronze tournaments and reach rank Gold III for the week. Yet I am barely holding onto gold as often I slide back and forth between Silver I and Gold III. Then there were days I literally stuck in Silver III because I could not get through the Daria+Sea Monster+Manticore combination. Odd is it not? Do better in high rating matches and struggle with lower rating.

My Plan

With less than two days to go until the season ends I am anticipating to earn some reward cards and plan to sell them to increase my Untamed collection or invest in my own Daria+Sea Monster+Manticore formation. It will depend on the prices come time to sell and buy at end of season. Will keep readers posted.

In the mean time playing daily and earning DEC in battles have slowly allowed me to level up some of my monsters. For summoners it has been a struggle as alphas/betas are rising swiftly. Fortunately Untamed summoners is still within reasonable prices so I plan to invest in those for now.

Currently there are (5) Untamed summoners at reasonable prices, not including Camila Sungazer as it already is over $5/bcx. Just too much for my budget.

• Pyre (Fire)
• Wizard of Eastwood (Earth)
• Contessa L'ament (Death)
• Bortus (Water)
• Camila Sungazer (Dragon)

I am currently deciding on whether to go with Khala or Pyre as they compliment my splinter monsters the best. I do not like negating effects as it somewhat of a guessing game on what opponents may bring to the table. ( I think it is also why Zintar Mortalis has seen the slowest growth in price.) Negating does not benefit my team formation, and I prefer to gain an advantage on the onset of battling.

Eastwood is not at the top of the pack because by default most my earth monsters have high health but low attack numbers. I prefer to be a little aggressive. Pyre +1 in speed has that intention of trying to attack opponent first. With fire monsters attack numbers pretty decent for level 1 - 4.

Khala maybe a good choice as by default many life monsters have toughness stats while having an added +1 health may help my life monsters are fighting against magic.

Well what do you think as a good summoner investment? Especially for beginners and low income players like myself. Untamed summoners looks like the way to go.
