Splinterlands - Emotional Day for Me!
For those who have followed me or read my Splinterland's post they would know that I have been a loyal and dedicated player in the game for months and close to a year. I have played daily and spent countless hours earning playing. Some of my highlights since has been reaching top 10 in a tournament and accumulating a set of level 4 alpha summoners. I am beyond words with what I got today. Cover picture of post said it all.
I am not picky as any one of those current legends gold foils I would definitely appreciate having. Since I started playing the highest earned reward card I ever got was an epic gold foil, but today, boy o boy today is on a whole new level. To realize the difference of earning this gold foil I do not have to look to far.
By comparison just the lone gold foil reward card is worth this much:
75k/381k DEC is nearly 20% of my whole deck worth just on one card! That is how much this card is worth and I am just ecstatic. I have already tried using the card and it has been a good experience so far, but thinking as an investment I may diversify and trade it for more summoners an I am trying to amass max level ones. For now I will keep it and play with it some more as I know how difficult it is to earning one.
To those that have yet to get one please be patient and keep on playing daily. You may not know if tomorrow will be your lucky day. I started out with a couple of alpha packs almost a year ago and have been playing and posting my progress on steemit but now hive as game has moved on. I must say it is possible to create a lot from very little. From my humble beginnings to now a decent alpha deck I am building on this. Next milestone I have set myself in the game is to hold 400k DEC burn rate of cards. I am trying to avoid holding too many rewards cards unless they are gold foil or legends. While also maintaining a decent value for my deck of cards. To get a better average my deck based on peakmonster's market price total the entire deck is worth about $600 and it has total 1627 BCX which equates to around $0.368 per BCX. That is plan expensive relatively speaking. I prefer to try to keep $/BCX high in order to maintain a higher market value in the long run.

Wish you the best of luck getting one. I was caught off guard with this. I was opening the chest and when it vibrated I knew it was a legend and as usual just kept clicking since the card shows up as a regular before it changes into gold. When I was clicking the next chest to open the card turned gold and I was stunned. I thought I was seeing things lol.
