Splinterlands Daily Quest - Battles With Fire Splinter

Today's quest in Splinterlands was to win 5 ranked battles with the Fire Splinter. The Fire Splinter is my second best splinter, out of all five, it contains some really useful cards with some of the best abilities among all the Splinters.

My top cards in the Fire Splinter are

• Kobold miner
• Giant roc
• Fire beetle
• Serpent of the flame

Yeah these guys almost guarantee anyone a win with Giant roc taking the lead and Serpent of the Flame taking the rear. The only disadvantage to using Serpent of the Flame is that it carries a relatively high manna of 6, so is more useful when the challenge favors a high manna setting. However, its different for the Giant roc which has the ability to fly so it dodges a lot of hits with only a 5 manna.

The most interesting of them is the Kobold miner, short and active, he operates best when at high level. It has a mana of 2 which makes it come in very handy especially when it has a high damage as well. Mine has a damage of 2, the summoner boosts it to 3 which makes it subtract 3 lives from one hit of the opponent. Bad guy really.

I usually combine Kobold miner with Fire beetle which also has a manner of 3 with 4 lives and a damage of 2 when buffed up by the summoner. Although there are times when I mix them up with the other cards on my deck for experiments and show off, but when it comes to serious battle, these guys are my to go.

So lets open my reward shall we...I'm on Bronze level 2 so I got rewarded with one card, I got a dragon summoner, Daria Drangonscale.

Some cards are dragons in the splinterlands with some extreme abilities, and the only way to use them in battle is by having a dragon summoner. So I guess its a good run. I still got my eyes on those super expensive cards so the battle continues...
