Splinterland Guilds Are Here .... Well Sorta .....

The long awaited GUILD system has been introduced to the Splinterlands (Steem-Monsters)game. You may not see it when visiting the official site as its cleverly hidden from public while the founders iron out any last details before officially launching it (I suspect the Guild system will be officially added after this season of play ends).

If you want to take a sneak peak at what Guilds have to offer simply use the URL, https://steemmonsters.com/?p=guilds and you will see the layout. Alternatively I have added a few screen shots below to give you an idea of what you will see.


We can also see the start of the guild system being added in the Leaderboardsection of league standings. Each Individual GUILD has its own specific icon and some of those icons can already be seen next to the name of specific players, as shown below in a screen shot.

Such exciting times for the Steemmonsters/Splinterlands game and the STEEM blockchain in general. My question to you is do you plan on joining a GUILD or perhaps you want to create your own ? Maybe you are a DEC hoarder and will decide to sell your DEC for some nice profit to those participating in GUILDS. What-ever your plan I would like to hear it below in the comment section.

I do not understand the benefits of guilds
. Can the guild win tournaments?

From what I can see ......

Currently guilds will give a DEC bonus in rank play and a discount on items in the shop excluding booster packs and starter sets.

Sounds Good But that Will also cost to join? If not everyone Will join just to get discount in shop

The discount is not a free for all. The discounted amount depends on certain factors. As for the cost of joining a guild .... from what I can tell that will depend on the person who created the guild. I'm sure there will be free to join ones and paid ones.

Lol , I was actually writing a post for my live stream tomorrow, speculating that guilds would be launched with the new season .

It would make sense since they said they were hoping to launch by the end of the month.

I seen your name under one when peaking around.

As much as I want to join one I'm not sure if I will bring the right value to a serious active one as I was planning on cutting back my screen time. Currently I'm waiting on an official post from a guild owner before making my decision. My summoners and monsters levels are also all over the place and I have no clue how that affects guild play.

I'm very new to these type of card games as well.

A guild is a group of players who work together to build their name brand. The SM/SP set up guilds in a way that the players in guilds will earn extra DEC in ranked play and get discounts in the shop. The discounts and extra DEC will depend on how big the guild is that you are apart of.

For example to start a guild it cost 10,000 DEC. To level up the guild building it will cost more DEC.

I'm waiting for my recent guild officially on the list next season before I started my own guild too.. LOL. See.. I wonder about the next cool thing created by steemmonster's team... the mobile app especially.

I think that the Guild will make us more addictive to the game since now we have an option to create special players community too.

I was hoping that you were planning on creating a guild and that I could join yours. But if not I could try to look into joining others. Though I don't have any DEC hoarded because I've been immediately converting DEC to Steem to buy cards.

Its not completely out of the question that I make one. If I do it would be a none serious one.

Contest Kings is creating one and that is likely the one I will be joining if I do join any as they have a good crew that is community driven. I will have to read what their expectations are of Guild members before I can fully commit. I also noticed that PeakMonsters has a free to join guild that is run by @jarvie.
