Trying out Splintertalk.io

Greetings Steemian's,

This is my first post on Splintertalk.io.

Use of this platform for Steemmonsters related posts, was recommended to me by another Steemian here on the platform @afrinsultana. Since I love Steemmonsters, and have been playing since it's inception on Steem, I figured why not give it a try.

Upon loading the feed on the user interface, I'm greeted with a familiar frontend which resembles Steemit, but carries with it a unique coloration which is geared towards the Steemmonsters color scheme. Pretty cool!



It's nice and runs smooth.

I decided to pick up a little SPT and have it sitting idle in my wallet. I've not yet decided if I'm going to stake it, or hodl for future trading. For the time being, I'm just going to hodl it.

Let's take a look at my rewards today on Steemmonsters.



This is not a daily reward to brag about, but I do like the Goblin Mech, and every card adds up. So no complaints here!

On another note, I've been trying out the potions.



These potions work better than I expected, and have been bringing me gold drops consistently, so I will likely ensure to keep active potions in the future while playing Steemmonsters.

That's pretty much it for my steemmonsters thoughts.

I wish I had time to play more, it's secondary to things I consider important, but does provide some entertainment when I have the time to battle. Some cards I hold and level up, some I sell. I really don't have a strategy or goal with Steemmonsters, other than to have fun playing it, which I think gives the game more value actually.
