Lets get this party started and give away some DEC. Today we have a heavy chunk of the purple Crystal to give away so don't forget to comment.

*comment a rule set you would like to see added to the game. (I want to see a one of each damage monster match. One mele, magic, range, and one sponge).

Today's Tips- How To Build Your Deck with out out of pocket cost.

Step one- Don't be scared. Many players are afraid to make a mistake by selling a card they might need or sell it for to cheap. You need to know how to buy and sell cards on the market, this will be the fastest way to build you deck. Hodling is good but not for your cards if you are actively upgrading your deck.

Step two- Summoner Level, upgrading your cards way above the summoner level is a waste of a card. It is a better Idea to sell the cards and buy summoner cards to get you deck leveled up evenly.

Last step- not all will agree with this step but it has worked for me. Sell your really high value cards like legendary gold foil or any card that might be over $10.00 unless you using them a lot.With the profits you can buy booster packs and summoner cards.

Using these steps you will be able to build your deck, get to a higher leauge which earns you more daily reward cards, season reward cards and way more DEC allowing you to sell more cards and buy more cards. The snow ball effect works great in this game.

Probably mixed splinters. But if I could choose, I'd remove the even and odd rulesets :)

A game where only magic monsters must be used in the first position and the battle would depend on the power of the card, sort of. Will come up with more ideas.

Hmm... new rule set.... how about Grounded: -flying monsters can't fly.. or no flying monsters?? eh.. details..

As for your advice, I agree on selling off the higher value cards if you can part with them. I made back the cost of my deck 6 times just by selling a couple cards I did not absolutely need. Actually I made back the deck AND bought more booster packs. All without spending real cash. Actually, I've done that a few times with this account. :-)

I want a ruleset where buffs and debuffs are exchanged. The buff which I was supposed to get should be given to the opponent and viseversa.

I'd like to see a 'All Level Ones' rule. Or, similarly, a 'starter deck only' rule (again with all level ones). Like the novice level tournament rules.

I like your 'one of each' rule, too, @threejay. They would need to make sure there was enough mana allowed to pull it off. A variation of that would be 'no more than one of each damage type', and then the mana could be variable...

Use any monster with any summoner....
Means all the monster available with all the Summoner...
For example - if i will use the water monster in this case also monster from all the splinters will a availbale to use....

How about a rule based on !monster health.... like the 4 mana or less rule, but with health? And then the opposite could also be rule... 4+ ?

Already suggested this in a Splinterlands post before but:

Civil War: Only neutral monsters may be used in battle

A rare occasion: Only rare monsters and summoners may be used in battle

Enchanted arrows: arrows go through armor like magic

Thunderstorm: All flying monsters take 2 magic dmg each round

Russian Roulette: A randomly selected monster dies each round

Battle rules - ROYAL RUMBLE: Any summoner + any monsters. Want Alric Stormbringer(water) to be used with Phantom Soldier(death)?? Go ahead... Want to add in a little Kron(earth) knock yourself out!! Any summoner + any monster would be epic. Imagine a 99 mana game where you could have a complete lineup of legendarys

Battle rule - DOUBLE TROUBLE: If you have them you can use the same card twice... 2 X Ruler of the seas!! Ohh the damage. A front end of Lord A and at the tail with thorns?? Ain't no one getting through that defence

I have so many more id love to see. I should also really write a complete blog with the monsters I've designed myself.

Add a max level rule? Like if your at diamond league but battle restricts to level 6.

Thanks so much @threejay. Now that's left me with a bit of a dilemma. I've been entering our contests with my untamed starter pack cuz I'm experimenting to see just how far I can go with it wihtout spending more than the original $10.

Can I allow myslef to transfer this 500 DEC since I entered with the "wrong" account. Not sure. It's a tricky one. 😂

And in answer to your question I'd like a starter DEC rule with L1s only.
