Give away 202, its a palindrome. Congratulations to yesterdays booster pack winners and if you want to win your own booster pack the last day of this month I will give away 10K DEC along with at least 1 booster pack if not more so stay tuned.

Daily Tip- The Secret to Burning cards.

Most do not know this tip but if you hold on to your cards which I know many of you do and max out a card(reward cards are easiest) if you burn a max card for DEC you get a bonus that usually makes it more wroth burning then selling. Make sure you do the math. The bonus is 5% even thou that might not seem like a lot remember if you burn a card for DEC you do not pay the 5% market fee. That will put the advantage to 10%. With a maxed out card that can be a chunk of change.

Today's Give Away
*comment a Tip you might have for fellow monsters. Don't have one, no problem leave a life tip or hack.

my tip is to see high value cards you never use, don't just keep cards to keep them

Some time GF cards are of approximate same value a normal specially in case of Commons.. so check the market for both.. for common GF the starting level is 4 and for normal level starting level is 1.

I'm still too new in the game to be offering advice. So.... life tip: don't eat yellow snow. It's not lemony fresh!

Ooofda. I can't fathom burning a card for the DEC. But then I'm not sitting on maxed level cards either. I guess my tip would be counter to your card-burning lesson; save them up instead. They might be worth more than you expect in the long run. (and I guess IF you HAD to, they could be burned for DEC at some point when it might better suit your needs.)

Complete the daily quests religiously. You will slowly build up a strong rewards card deck which becomes powerful enough.

Racecar
Tacocat
Never Odd Or Even

My advice is - please send any and all unwanted cards to @drjpooch. These darling monsters need a good, loving home. Not burning.

Thanks for your generosity, @threejay.

Life struggles such as growing a splinterlands deck without spending a ton of fiat should not stop you from trying. See it as an opportunity to learn how to make enough crypto to have a decent deck.

My tips.
Sometimes it’s more correct to sell a gold card and buy other cards to strengthen your deck.
An example is my story.
When Furious Chiken appeared, I was hit with gold.
I sold it for ~ $ 10 and strengthened my deck with other cards.
Now it costs ~ $ 2.5

I'm not sure if the ottermaker still runs

But when sending cards to @ottermaker used to give 101% DEC value so its better than burning.

But do research before using it, since the owner of the bot has gone trough changes lately

Yes, still runs, still same owner. I sold off other parts of my Splinterlands business but I still run Ottermaker.

As soon as you lose 3 games in a row, walk away and come back after a certain time. I wait an hour. If I'm losing to higher level cards they've passed through when I return and I I'm losing because I'm not playing well and break always helps.

As a newbie, my tip to other newbies would be to study the battles of other players who are more experienced so that you would know which cards to buy or rent in the case of a high price. Learning is so important before deciding to buy cards without knowing the use of it.
Thanks for the giveaway

Join a guild. Even the weak guilds can give you a little bonus DEC which can add up over time.

Thank you @threejay, for all yours giveaway posts and the splinterland tips you give. I didn't know about the bonus for max cards, very valuable info !!
My tip is to use yours earned DEC to max Neutral monsters first, because neutral monster are cheap to buy and can really make a big difference in battles. Of course if you need only few cards to level up great cards (not neutral) it is also a good investment of yours DEC.

Fingers & toes crossed
