What would you say is the difference in Herons vs manually managing a player (50/50 share) vs renting out single cards? You have many single cards rented away, right?

Yes, some individual cards are much better rented directly than as part of a deck. Most of my herons decks do not have earth splinters because of that.
When you are looking to do things in bulk though, renting the whole deck through herons is far easier even though the per-card return might be lower.
