#1 Introduction to ocean nomad life by @yannay

I've been sailing or on anchor for 19 months now. Just 6 docking days throughout this period. It means constant movement. Constant alertness and some anxious moments too. It means carrying your water, food, diesel for long distances by foot and then rowing them another kilometer or so from shore to the boat in an inflatable dinghy. It means not standing on firm ground for days, weeks sometimes.

#2 Descent from Hoverla - highest peak of Ukraine by @onewomanwalks

I gave myself a talking to, the lack of food wasn’t a problem, I’d be hungry for a day, no more than that, I could be hungry for a day, it was an inconvenience rather than a crisis. That left two remaining problems, whether to tackle the mountain and risk being stuck on a slope in the dark, or whether to take the side path and risk a dangerous off-path climb to change routes. This was the Chornohirsky Massif, in the centre of a national park area and the slopes off the peaks were coated thick with pine forest, undisturbed. This was primeval forest, home to viable populations of lynx, bears and wolves, said the information boards.

#3 Travel Story: Hidden Gems Hitchhiking Tierra del Fuego by @mrprofessor

If it wasn't of any utility for Capt. Phillip, it was for sure a blessing for us, as it is one of the few places to spot the King Penguins outside of Antarctica. The King penguins are the second largest especies of penguins in the world, a clumsy and funny animal. What an experience! Sitting there, watching those wild animals, only sparked my dreams of visiting Antarctica, an experience that I can only imagine through the words written in books such as the ones made by Amyr Klink, a brazilian sailor and explorer.
