Hoarding Gold Cards on Splinterlands
Hi Everyone,
Before tournaments came about, I don't keep many gold cards on the splinters I don't normally use. This includes ones for water and fire splinters but since the introduction of DEC and getting bonus DEC for using gold cards, I have decided to start hoarding them.
I don't keep check of my cards very often due to time constraint so I decided to check out what cards I have today. Last time I checked, I don't recall having many but after checking what I have today, I was a bit surprised on how many of them I've hoarded. Honestly, it is nothing compared to the players in the mavericks group or any of the big players but I am still pretty proud of my collection.
I have been getting more these two season due to have potions available which I don't expect to receive this many when my potions run out. I don't have any legendary gold foils but I haven't given hope, fingers crossed for this season. Have you been collection gold cards as well?

Yeah, that's pretty solid. Have you entered many bronze or silver gold foil tournaments?
They're a whole other thing. Heaps of guys sneak in with a handful of cards, and hope to limp through.
Easy to do well if you have a decent collection.
I've done it once in the silver league i think as @jrvacation had lend me his two decks for a week or so and it was a different atmosphere. I don't think my cards are good enough for any gold foiled tournaments expect for bronze.
That’s a lot of gold cards. But no legendaries. You need to use potions to get them.

I am like you @travelgirl I have a few Gold Cards. I tend to hang on to everyone that I Get. They are Neat because they are Not EASY To Get..........
Yep I agree it’s not easy to get so I don’t want to part with many of them yet.
