War, By Robert Greene - My Review

I took this book from my husband when he came back from work. I was trying to search for something some weeks ago in his bag and bulged into this book. Not only that, but I said to myself, “I must read this book to the end and understand every bit of it.

“Do we need war?”
Hmm…. This is a very crucial question, but then this book made us understand that we can encounter war in any area of our lives. It may come with the mind, your enemies, or anything at all.

Robert Greene used this book to tell us about how you can declare war on your enemies (strategy). I laughed my breath out when I saw the way he presented the enemies as the opposite pole of a magnet, while you required the strategies as the positive pole. Your reaction is the way the magnets force each other together (unlike charges).

The beginning of this book was a great line, and this alone captivated my mind towards reading it to the very end.

Hmm… it is difficult to stand out in making plans on how to escape your enemies, but one needs to make up his or her mind or else end up being a slave forever. The writer made use of the Greek as an example in this very part. The way they were captured but after applying some strategies, they were able to escape to their land.

We are just the same even up until today. We would foolishly fall for our enemies by letting them capture us just because of the lack of the right strategy.

This book made us understand that we have inner enemies as well as outer ones. Whichever way, we just need to find a way to make the best strategy just to defeat our enemies. Robert Greene used politics to explain the outer enemies where a female had to come out dominating the male in government.

I was made to understand that when enemies want to get close to you, they would come in the form of friendship but would be killing you softly.

We should live to relent on the last war because when you fight it, you will come out defeated. This is why we need a strategy to make headway. Your past is your last no matter what. Whenever had happened in the past would serve to settle the present? It means we just need to find a way to correct the mistakes of the past.

Robert Greene made it clear, and I believe so much in what he said. In the heat of battle, most people tend to lose their minds believing in defeat. Whatever the circumstances might be, we just need to keep our balance and never allow our minds to sway away from being overtaken by the battle we are in. When you are dependent, you would feel disappointed and frustrated. So, we require people to be part of our lives. The worst enemy we have is us and ourselves.

The writer tried to use some old or historical stories to back up his writing. I was able to learn about the culture of some countries and their past heroes.

Teamwork sometimes pays, but when the team you have built is not in line with you, you may find it difficult to win your immediate war. This showed that you may get disorganized.

The major aim of winning a war is to build up a strong team and to make your team flow with you. Understanding the structure of your group by making them in line with your actions can help in winning any form of war.

I can see the case of the Nigerian government as this kind of happening. I cannot say Nigeria is a failed country, but I can boldly say it is a failed government because we, the citizens, are not failed people. We, the citizens, tried to fight war against the government, but would not win as we have no unison mind. The mind of oneness can make things happen and can make one come out victorious.

You have forces and you as a leader should learn how to understand their language and how to split them into segments. They should learn how to understand each group to the fullest in other to win your opponent.

Do you want to war against someone? Or do you want to war against your mind or are you passing through some difficulties in your life that need some crucial attention? Then this book is for you. I can always recommend it to those who are in deep fear and to the politicians. They require this book to tackle their immediate problems. This means this book is needed in politics and the government.

Le quité este libro a mi marido cuando regresó del trabajo. Hace algunas semanas estaba tratando de buscar algo en su bolso y me metí en este libro. No sólo eso, sino que me dije a mí mismo: “Debo leer este libro hasta el final y comprender cada parte de él.

“¿Necesitamos la guerra?”
Mmm…. Esta es una pregunta muy crucial, pero este libro nos hizo comprender que podemos encontrarnos con la guerra en cualquier área de nuestras vidas. Puede venir con la mente, tus enemigos o cualquier cosa.

Robert Greene usó este libro para contarnos cómo puedes declarar la guerra a tus enemigos (estrategia). Me reí muchísimo cuando vi la forma en que presentaba a los enemigos como el polo opuesto de un imán, mientras que tú requerías las estrategias como el polo positivo. Tu reacción es la forma en que los imanes se fuerzan entre sí (a diferencia de las cargas).

El comienzo de este libro fue una gran línea, y solo esto cautivó mi mente para leerlo hasta el final.

Hmm… es difícil destacar al hacer planes sobre cómo escapar de tus enemigos, pero uno necesita tomar una decisión o terminar siendo un esclavo para siempre. El escritor utilizó el griego como ejemplo en esta misma parte. La forma en que fueron capturados pero luego de aplicar algunas estrategias lograron escapar a su tierra.

Seguimos igual hasta hoy. Caeríamos tontamente ante nuestros enemigos si les permitiéramos capturarnos sólo por falta de la estrategia adecuada.

Este libro nos hizo comprender que tenemos enemigos internos y externos. De cualquier manera, solo necesitamos encontrar una manera de hacer la mejor estrategia para derrotar a nuestros enemigos. Robert Greene utilizó la política para explicar los enemigos externos cuando una mujer tenía que dominar al hombre en el gobierno.

Me hicieron entender que cuando los enemigos quieren acercarse a ti, lo harán en forma de amistad pero te matarán suavemente.

Deberíamos vivir para ceder en la última guerra porque cuando la luches, saldrás derrotado. Por eso necesitamos una estrategia para avanzar. Tu pasado es el último pase lo que pase. ¿Alguna vez había sucedido en el pasado que serviría para zanjar el presente? Significa que sólo necesitamos encontrar una manera de corregir los errores del pasado.

Robert Greene lo dejó claro y creo mucho en lo que dijo. En el fragor de la batalla, la mayoría de las personas tienden a perder la cabeza creyendo en la derrota. Cualesquiera que sean las circunstancias, sólo necesitamos mantener el equilibrio y nunca permitir que nuestra mente se aleje de la batalla en la que nos encontramos. Cuando eres dependiente, te sientes decepcionado y frustrado. Por eso requerimos que las personas formen parte de nuestras vidas. El peor enemigo que tenemos somos nosotros y nosotros mismos.

El escritor intentó utilizar algunas historias antiguas o históricas para respaldar su escritura. Pude aprender sobre la cultura de algunos países y sus héroes del pasado.

El trabajo en equipo a veces vale la pena, pero cuando el equipo que ha creado no está en línea con usted, puede resultarle difícil ganar la guerra inmediata. Esto demostró que puedes desorganizarte.

El objetivo principal de ganar una guerra es formar un equipo fuerte y hacer que tu equipo fluya contigo. Comprender la estructura de su grupo alineándolos con sus acciones puede ayudar a ganar cualquier forma de guerra.

Puedo ver el caso del gobierno nigeriano como algo de este tipo. No puedo decir que Nigeria sea un país fallido, pero puedo decir con valentía que es un gobierno fallido porque nosotros, los ciudadanos, no somos personas fallidas. Nosotros, los ciudadanos, intentamos hacer la guerra contra el gobierno, pero no pudimos ganar porque no tenemos una mentalidad unánime. La mente de unidad puede hacer que las cosas sucedan y hacer que uno salga victorioso.

Tienes fuerzas y tú, como líder, debes aprender a comprender su lenguaje y a dividirlas en segmentos. Deberán aprender a comprender al máximo cada grupo en el otro para ganar a su oponente.

¿Quieres hacer la guerra contra alguien? ¿O quieres luchar contra tu mente o estás pasando por algunas dificultades en tu vida que necesitan una atención crucial? Entonces este libro es para ti. Siempre puedo recomendarlo a aquellos que tienen mucho miedo y a los políticos. Necesitan este libro para abordar sus problemas inmediatos. Esto significa que este libro es necesario en la política y el gobierno.
