Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 158 // 3D model of Gangsta fuckboy " Cyclops "
Aloha everyone! It's my first time joining the contest. I'm presenting my 3D model of Cyclops from Splinterlands. I choosed cyclops because he looks kindda ghetto and i want to model something that looks badass for fun.
So for the process of modeling , i used fusion360 which i also am using for work as a prototyping engineer. I previously designed this weird ass one eyed creep months ago out of boredom so i already skipped the modeling of the body and used this instead. In case you guys are wondering, no i am not some psycho guy trying to potrait my inner demon through modeling, ahaha. I am thankful tho that splinterlands have this contest about monster arts coz modeling is not only about boredom anymore for me.
So here i already modeled the face along with the skirt using the model tool (purple cube on the upper left) in fusion 360, i also experimented with appearance tool to achieve the fabric look of the skirt.
Then here i started to modeled the rock, then added some texture. Luckily stone texture is already available in the appearance tool so i only have to tweak a bit too improve the appearance similarity with a real rock
Here i started to model a wood surface then added the splinterlands logo through the insert decals of fusion360
modeled my splinterlands username contoured in a piece of wood (The wood's supposed to look bloody, lol i just had hard time thinking of the technique to make it look gore, yes i got tired and decided to go with maple look)
Then i started to add chains and bling-blings to make it look more ghetto and badass like a carefree gangsta ready to throw rocks at someone whenever he please.
then Rendered it and added some minor details as seen in the 1st GIF. Yep that's it, the Gangsta fuckboy Cyclops hope you guys find the ass sexy, Had fun modeling it tho kindda tiring :) Hope you guys like it, ahaha. Gracias for taking the time to read my art journey seniores!
