My Summoners Collection: Upgrade or not ?

I have been building up my summoners collection quite gradually over time and today I have reached a point where I could merge all the cards together to get a fully developed summoner in several splinters. However, I'm not sure I want to do that...

I think it's smarter to use it up to the level you need and rent the rest. In fact, renting is really profitable and takes little work.

For me to be usefull, I would need to upgrade them to max. That's why I hesitate :-)

I have done something similar, but I have upgraded to the level which was the most demand and the best APR... Sometimes it's on level 2, for other summoners is on level 4, etc... And of course, trying to keep all those level with exact number of cards (BCX) 😃

I have done that as well but then prices started to change and finally I did a bit of level two and level 3.

That's pretty important otherwise the cards are kind of useless :-)

I still using the summoners from splinterlands. If buying summoners then need enough for level ll. But just choose one that I use the most !

I believe that upgrading one summoner to level 2 is the first step to up your game towards higher leauges :-)

Hi how are you? wuaooo you already have a lot of summoners, I still don't have chaos cards, I'm waiting for them to drop in price but the opposite is happening, old cards dropped in price but the chaos summoners remain, it seems they don't want to go down hehehe, I will wait a couple more months to see if I can buy them cheaper, regards

really don't know what to do... thinking about the same, just on a different level: "what to do with lvl1 summoners you might want to sell later on in the future?"

Level 1 cards are much easier to sell and they often sell for higher prices. It's good to keep them undevelopped if you don't need them in the game.

Would prefer the renting out option. The rental market has been improving since the lows when the Chaos Packs first launched. :)

At the moment I think I will stay with renting as well. Once I merge the cards I can't come back :-)

I am maxing them. ALL of them. Obsidian and Kelya already proved very useful in battles. I understand your dilemma. But look at it this way: if you reach CL3 sooner than the EOS and rent out partially or totally your playing deck for the remaining time (being careful to have 500k CP at the EOS!), they will rent out at high prices and make out for the loss from not renting out your summoners for the entire season at lower levels.

That's a good strategy and yes in the end I don't want to be stuck in Diamond 3 all the time :-)
