Having fun playing without bots
It's a very long time since I've made my last video about Splinterlands. The reason I stopped making videos was that I was bored playing the game, because I was just losing against the bots. I bought myself a bot license for my main account and stopped playing at all. The thing is... I missed the game and the fun of making a nice line up. Since bots are now banned in Modern league, I started to play some manual games again. I'm having a lot of fun playing manually and using my new gladius and reward cards...

Good to see you back in Modern playing the game. I am in Gold 1, so maybe we might face off at some point soon :)
At the end of the last season I finished in Gold 3. People are pretty strong and it takes a lot of time to progress. I hope I will meet you there ;-)
The SPS rewards are pretty good now in Modern. Although, assuming there are really no bots/battle helpers, humans are really much tougher opponents than bots.
I also have the feeling the opponents are tough. I think there are many old players that came back to play in Modern and they have quite good decks.
Everyone is very happy after all this and playing this game is more fun because you know that man is playing it and when man wins then he is happy when he loses a little bit. Anger is bound to happen, but competition is equal.
I think there are still some people who use bots but as long as you win almost every second game, it's fine for me :-)

I play manually in Silver and I don't use a bot. It just seems like modern has gotten harder after the changes. My win rate has kind of dropped and I think my own rate is probably getting closer to that 50% win rate recently.
I think that a lot of old players like myself came back to play some games. They have great decks and a lot of experience and I think they increase to overall level of the game in modern.

I restarted playing spl aswell for thz same reason as you. As others already mzntioned here, it's a bit tougher, but way more fun! Glad you're enjoying the game again!
I played for close to 5 years before being totally frustrated by losing against bots. I'm sure there are still some people cheating in modern and using bots but as long as I get around one win out of two games, I'm enjoying the game :-)
Oof, after 5 years, that's quite some time! I joined at December 2021 but I considered the bots kind of as a threat which was a reason I didn't really invest and was a bit suspicious, especially early on. Anyway, great that we can enjoy the game again :D
Splinterland has become a financial game for me, I hardly play.
It was like that for me but now with the banning of bots in modern, I restarted to play a bit for the fun :-)

I only play in Brawls. Fewer fights, and not every day, and I like that. I do play in one of the Silver league frays most often, and sometimes I miss using the maxed cards, lol.
Since I'm struggeling along in silver modern, I also kind of miss using my powerful cards :-)
