Acolytes of Helio is upgrading! - Financial update! New member!
Dear Acolytes and Disciples
We have been battling through the brawls and are getting better. We continue on our way to make a self sustaining guild economy with basic income and flat fees possible. Therefor Solymi has been funneling 3% of his land SPS drops into the acolytesofhelio account.
We have a new members @mistakili and @jhuleader joining our ranks. So far we have been working with flat structures of guild fees and I really do not want to change that. My philosophy with this was that contributions to the guild should be voluntary.
Lets dive into our financial stats right after this. We are looking for all levels of players!
If you want to join and play splinterlands with us and have no means to particicpate, we have 2 schiolar accounts that can be activated. These have been sitting idle but if you are willing to fight and ewant to earn gladiator cards then go for it! Disciples of Helio our secondary guild can give you all this and more! Acolytes of Helio Financial report
This gives us a brief picture of our holdings. We are looking at DEC and DECB, SPS liquid and staked, HIVE staked and liquid, liquidity pool positions, and other HIVE engine tokens. We are also taking a look at the card collection we are holding.
DEC and DECB
With renting aoutout a few cards and with buying DECB we are holding quite a good sum of DEC.
Together almost 120k in DEC value for our buildings.
I discuss the plans with DEC/DECB at the end of this post.
SPS and staked SPS
We always have 100 SPS in liquid form, everything above that is automatically staked once an hour.
Since we are also actively playing with this account we have been earning some extra SPS on the side.
All this goes almost fully automated. With the 3% drop of solymi daily we have almost 2k SPS in staked form.
Vouchers
We are getting a few drips of Vouchers with our staked SPS rewards. It is not much ánd we can decide at a later point what we do with them. The amount is now insignificant.

Other Hive engine tokens
Cartel and EDS giving us some advantages we are holding. SPT might get interesting soon and we have a little bit there as well.
NO LP positions
We have spent our LP position to buy DECB which was a good decision.
Building upgrades
We have the following suggestion from @kotenoke
It was always a plan to implement DECB for buildings. As soon as that goes live we will upgrade the barracks with DECB and then fill the rest into the store to lvl 5. Afterwards we will focus on the guild hall.
So if you want to contribute with some of your own DEC that would be a great help to hit all goals quite early. Solymi will defo drop some in.
What about the other active members?
We will spend 49k on the barracks and the rest 33k go towards the store. As soon as the store is done we focus on the guild hall to be upgraded asap.
What should happen with the Disciples guild?
Can we fill that guild? If not what will we do about it? I think we could set up a merit farm and sps farm slowly by only playing brawls with smaller accounts in those. And using it as means of farming SPS brawl rewards. Merits and gladiator cards. Not to forget about soulbound rewards that will be tradeable at some point.
We also could go ahead and sell the full guild and use funds to upgrade our main guild.

Great to see the guild continue to move in a positive direction (even with a lot of uncertainty around other Hive projects).
I feel we can keep building and recruiting to fill the Disciples Guild. We have been getting noticed with our Brawl Placements so hopefully new members will be more willing to be part of a winning team (and EARN!)

Yeah, I struggle with what we should do with the Disciples guild. On one hand, I think it holds value for us to be able to recruit and keep highly active members in Acolytes. IE allowing people to drop to Disciples if they decide to take brakes from playing etc and allowing someone in disciples to move into Acolytes. On the other hand, it isn't as active as it could be and currently is wasting its potential. It has the ability to brawl and has a store to buy gladiator cards which is HUGE since they can be used in ranked battles now.

I've been really busy with the march and april events. I know you told me to post on hive but I did manage to win $100+ during those 2 months and have heavily upgraded my legendary summoners and even managed to get a lvl 2 Blight and Lurker.
