Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero hayan pasado una increíble semana creativa, el día de hoy les comparto mi entrada al concurso semanal de #splinterlands, donde cada semana vemos increíbles creaciones de diversos artistas. Para esta semana creé un guerrero demonio con cabeza de León, pensando en las quimeras que tienen cabeza de león, alas y cola de serpiente, aunque mi personaje sólo cumple con una de esas características. También para darle el aspecto demoníaco decidí incorporarme cuernos y ojos brillantes sin pupila, para que todo el tiempo parezca poseído.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you had an amazing creative week, today I share with you my entry to the splinterlands weekly contest, where every week we see amazing creations from different artists. For this week I created a demon warrior with a lion head, thinking about the chimeras that have a lion head, wings and snake tail, although my character only has one of those characteristics. Also to give him the demonic look I decided to incorporate horns and glowing eyes without pupils, so that he looks possessed all the time.

Klaus es uno de los 8 grandes guerreros que sirven a la Guardia de los tres grandes demonios, dichos guerreros se caracterizan por sus armas, siendo estas usualmente espadas o asemejándose a unas, por eso son conocidos como las 8 grandes espadas del inframundo. Cada uno posee una especie de símbolo único, el cual al ser liberado, hace que se expande por todo su cuerpo liberando todo el poder del demonio, y provocando que este cambie de aspecto. Klaus al liberar su marca, gran parte de su cuerpo se prende en fuego al igual que su melena, y de él brotan dos alas, además de incrementar el tamaño de sus cuernos, su espada de forma roja, como si hubiese sido sumergida a altas temperaturas. Klaus es uno de las espadas demonios que tiene estas cualidades elementales, siendo considerado como la cuarta espada más poderosa.

Each one possesses a kind of unique symbol, which when released, causes it to expand throughout his body releasing all the power of the demon, and causing it to change its appearance. When Klaus releases his mark, a large part of his body is set on fire as well as his mane, and two wings sprout from him, as well as increasing the size of his horns, his red sword, as if it had been immersed in high temperatures. Klaus is one of the demon swords that has these elemental qualities, being considered the fourth most powerful sword.

Realice la pose del personaje,usando el lápiz digital y el color azul, luego empecé a definir sus facciones y a diseñar su armadura usando los colores rosado y morado.

I made the pose of the character, using the digital pencil and blue color, then I started to define his features and design his armor using pink and purple colors.

Procedí a realizar el trabajo de línea con la tinta dura y el color negro, luego elimine las capas de la base y realice la base de color en una nueva capa, usando el pincel y el rellenador.

I proceeded to do the line work with the hard ink and the black color, then I removed the base layers and did the base color in a new layer, using the brush and the filler.

Comencé detallando la piel del personaje usando tonos más oscuros derivados del color base, luego detallé el cabello en el cual aplique otros tonos además de resaltar con blanco, usando las acuarelas de mezclas en ambos procesos. También detallé los cuernos, la marca y la cicatriz.

I started detailing the skin of the character using darker tones derived from the base color, then I detailed the hair in which I applied other tones in addition to highlighting with white, using the watercolor blends in both processes. I also detailed the horns, the mark and the scar.

Luego detallé los brazaletes de plata en su brazo,pierna y cola, también detalle las garras del personaje. Continuando con la espada, nariz y ojos.

Then I detailed the silver bracelets on his arm, leg and tail, I also detailed the claws of the character. Continuing with the sword, nose and eyes.

Procedí a realizar los tonos metálicos de la armadura, empezando por las plateadas y terminando con el cinturón dorado. Luego detalle las partes de tela y los vendajes.

I proceeded to make the metallic tones of the armor, starting with the silver ones and finishing with the golden belt. Then I detailed the cloth parts and the bandages.

Para el fondo realice una base de negro luego realice la sensación de fuego usando el aerógrafo y tonos anaranjados y amarillos. También realice un círculo en la base, como si fuese un círculo mágico del cual proviene el fuego.

For the background I made a black base and then I made the fire feeling using the airbrush and orange and yellow tones. Also make a circle on the base, as if it were a magic circle from which the fire comes from.

Por el aspecto rudo y salvaje, decidí que apuntarme fuese menos cargado, para que así tuviese un aspecto más grande, el largo de su melena también da esa sensación de ferocidad, y el tono de su pelaje hace que lo asociemos con fuego o calor, el cual en este caso es la base de su poder, aunque su gran espada evita que este haga movimiento rápidos y ágiles, no es nada que no compense en fuerza y poder. For the rough and wild aspect, I decided that to aim me was less loaded, so that it had a bigger aspect, the length of its mane also gives that sensation of ferocity, and the tone of its fur makes that we do it with fire or heat, which in this case is the base of its power, although its great sword prevents that this one makes fast and agile movement, it is nothing that does not compensate in force and power.
