Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén teniendo una increíble semana, el día hoy les comparto mi nueva creación para el concurso semanal de #splinterlands,donde cada semana podemos observar increíbles diseños, por eso para esta semana he creando un dragón verde de armadura dorada y una gran espada casi del tamaño de su cuerpo. Para este dragón decidí basarme en vagar, un dragón de la casa dragón para este mini diseño, por eso los colores declararon son un tono verdoso, casi azulado. Además quería que tuviera un aspecto tosco, como si fuese un busca pleito, o de esperar con ansias una pelea.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you are having an amazing week, today I share with you my new creation for the splinterlands weekly contest, where every week we can see amazing designs, so for this week I have created a green dragon with golden armor and a big sword almost the size of his body. For this dragon I decided to base on vagar, a dragon from the dragon house for this mini design, that's why the colors declared are a greenish tone, almost bluish. I also wanted it to have a rough look, as if it were a fighter, or looking forward to a fight.

Magnus es un dragón de 1,80 metros de altura y de una personalidad muy arrogante, aunque a pesar de esto su principal misión es cumplir sus labores como Guardia Real, siendo uno de los más viejos de la actual guardia, pero uno de los pocos que sobrevivieron a la última guerra donde murió la antigua guardia, por esto muchos piensan que su carácter fuerte se debe a estos hechos por los que ha pasado. Su armadura está formada con oro imperial, sólo pocos caballeros se han ganado este honor, lo que destaca a simple vista su gran desempeño. Posee una de las espadas más grandes, apodada como "Hoja carmesí" , la cual es la más gruesa entre las espadas de los caballeros.

Realicé la pose del personaje con el color azul, utilizando el lápiz digital. Después empecé a darle forma al personaje con el color rosado, y procedí a diseñar la armadura con el color morado.

I made the pose of the character with the blue color, using the digital pencil. Then I started to shape the character with the pink color, and proceeded to design the armor with the purple color.

Con la tinta negra empecé a realizar el trabajo de línea, y posteriormente eliminé las capas del boceto. Con el rellenado realice la base de color, con sus respectivos tonos en cada área.

With the black ink I started to do the line work, and then I eliminated the layers of the sketch. With the filling I made the base color, with their respective tones in each area.

Empecé detallando la piel, cuernos y garras del dragón, usando el aerógrafo, empezando por las sombras y luego los toques de luz. Después detalle las alas, el cabello y los ojos.

I started detailing the skin, horns and claws of the dragon, using the airbrush, starting with the shadows and then the highlights. Then I detailed the wings, hair and eyes.

Procedí a detallar la espada realizando toques metálicos en ella. Luego detalle la parte de la cintura, empezando por las partes negras y terminando con las doradas. Continúe detallando la armadura, siguiendo por las partes doradas, y después detallando las partes rojas.

I proceeded to detail the sword making metallic touches on it. Then detail the waist part, starting with the black parts and finishing with the golden ones. I continued detailing the armor, continuing with the golden parts, and then detailing the red parts.

Para finalizar realice un fondo para que tuviese el aspecto de una carta, y la esencia de personaje de juego de fantasía.

Realizar dragones humanoides es una nueva área que me está gustando, aunque pronto espero hacerlos más grandes y detallados, pero conservando ese toque medieval en sus vestiduras y armas. Me gustó el tono que escogí para este diseño y que el cabello fuese similar sólo que más oscuro, hace que conserve ese aspecto natural y orgánico. Making humanoid dragons is a new area that I'm liking, although soon I hope to make them bigger and more detailed, but keeping that medieval touch in their clothes and weapons. I liked the tone I chose for this design and that the hair was similar only darker, it keeps that natural and organic look.
