Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén pasando una increíble semana, el día De hoy les comparto mi entrada al concurso semanal de splintelands, donde cada semana podemos ver las increíbles creaciones de los artistas que forman parte de este concurso. Para esta semana decidí crear un pequeño dragón con armadura medieval,además de realizar un fondo de herrería ya que este es el trabajo principal de él. Para este diseño decidí hacerlo a un estilo que le mantuviera ese toque tierno y caricaturesco como algunos juegos npg, como Dragon quets.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you are having an amazing week, today I share with you my entry to the weekly splintelands contest, where every week we can see the incredible creations of the artists that are part of this contest. For this week I decided to create a little dragon with medieval armor,besides making a blacksmith background since this is the main work of it. For this design I decided to do it in a style that kept that tender and cartoonish touch like some npg games, such as Dragon quests.

Roy is a little dragon dedicated to blacksmithing, who has his own weapon and armor store, known for his special designs for each client, in addition to the materials he uses to create them, but despite being very good at what he does, what he longs most is to be a knight, with an incredible armor, dedicated to protect his kingdom. That's why Roy has been slowly forging his own armor, in addition to his weapons, as is his incredible diamond mallet, a mineral obtained very infrequently of that great size, making it a unique and personal weapon of his own. Roy was not good with sword handling, so he decided to have as his main weapon a big mallet, with which he feels much more comfortable.

Roy es un pequeño dragón dedicado a la herreria, quien tiene su propia tienda de armas y armaduras, conocidas por sus diseños especiales para cada cliente, además de los materiales que utiliza para crearlas, pero a pesar de ser muy bueno en lo que hace, lo que más anhela es ser caballero, con una increíble armadura, dedicado a proteger a su reino. Por eso Roy ha ido forjando poco a poco su propia armadura, además de sus armas, como lo es su increíble mazo de diamante, un mineral conseguido con muy poca frecuencia de ese gran tamaño, lo que lo hace un arma única y personal de sí mismo. Roy no era bueno con el manejo de la espada, por eso decidió tener como arma principal un gran mazo, con el que se sentía mucho más cómodo.

Realice la base de la pose usando el lápiz digital y el color azul, después empecé a definir sus facciones y el arma con el color rosado, luego con el morado realice la vestimenta y armadura.

I made the base of the pose using the digital pencil and the blue color, then I started to define his features and the weapon with the pink color, then with the purple color I made the clothing and armor.

Realice el trabajo de línea con la tinta dura y el color negro, después elimine las capas previas y procedí a realizar la base de color, usando el rellenador.

I made the line work with the hard ink and the black color, then I removed the previous layers and proceeded to make the color base, using the filler.

Empecé a detallar el cuerpo usando acuarelas de mezcla, empezando por las partes azules juego las beige. Después detalle las alas del personaje.

I started detailing the body using watercolor blending, starting with the blue parts and the beige ones. Then I detailed the wings of the character.

Continúe detallando el cabello, cuernos, ojos y boca. Luego detalle el gran mazo y el escudo de su brazo izquierdo realizando toques metálicos en ambos.

Continue detailing the hair, horns, eyes and mouth. Then I detailed the big mace and the shield on his left arm using metallic touches on both.

Empecé a detallar la armadura del personaje, comenzando por las áreas azules terminando con las plateadas. Luego detalle el pantalón y las bandas en sus extremidades.

I started detailing the character's armor, starting with the blue areas and finishing with the silver ones. Then detail the pants and the bands on his extremities.

Realice la base del fondo aplique después el trabajo de línea, una vez terminado este aplique la base de color y elimine las capas previas del boceto. Después empecé a detallar el fondo, empezando por las paredes y terminando en las mesas y la forja.

I made the base of the background then applied the line work, once this was finished I applied the base color and removed the previous layers of the sketch. I then started detailing the background, starting with the walls and finishing on the tables and the forge.

Me encanta lo adorable que se ve este personaje, además del acabado de los detalles, lo que me hace sentir que de verdad forma parte de un juego, además de la armadura y arma, otra de mis partes favoritas es el fondo, el cual es la pequeña herrería donde forja sus armas y armaduras, el pequeño lugar donde se crean grandes cosas. Otro toque es su mirada enérgica y decidida, lo que le da ese toque de optimismo. I love how adorable this character looks, plus the finishing of the details, which makes me feel that he is really part of a game, besides the armor and weapon, another of my favorite parts is the background, which is the little blacksmith shop where he forges his weapons and armor, the little place where great things are created. Another touch is his energetic and determined look, which gives him that touch of optimism.
